"They're only interested in your $. I needed to get a Covid test for work purposes. The walk-in process was so disorganized. I was seen more than an hour after I walked in, even though three others that walked in after me were seen before me (within 15-20 minutes). They did both the rapid test and the regular test. They said I would get the rapid test results that evening, and gave me the instructions on how to get the results online. Later that day, I tried to get the results but their instructions didn't work. I called them repeatedly over the next couple days for the rapid test results - no one answered the phone or returned my messages. I finally got a return phone call on the third day. By then they had the results of the regular test too. What was the point of them doing (and charging for) both tests if the results were going to be provided at the same time??? AND they tried to charge the phone call as a follow-up office visit. Horrible."

"I really like First Call Medical Center in Gambrills. They are excellent medical providers, as are many other medical centers, but the key difference is time. First Call is normally not nearly as crowded as the big name urgent care centers. Every time I have been there, I have been seen after just a short wait time. At other urgent care places the wait times can be much longer. The providers at First Call are all excellent. I had great experiences with James Brothers, CRNP, and with their other medical providers. These people are very nice, very fast, and very competent. First Call Medical Center is my first choice when someone in my family needs to be seen quickly by a very competent medical provider. I highly recommend them."
