Family Foot and Ankle Center

"I do not recommend Family Foot and Ankle Center. I had a lapiplasty foot surgery recommended/performed by Mendelsohn Nov 2021. It was the worst surgery ever from every aspect I can think of and I'm still having serious issues, Aug 2023. The office was chaotic, the xray machine was broken twice after my foot surgery during post-op appointments, and their billing system was messed up. I would pay for an invoice received via mail and I would be asked to pay again for the same invoice on post-op visits. Nothing like hobbling in on crutches and someone yelling across the reception area you owe money when you've just paid the invoice you just got in the mail. Clearly, their billing system is out of sync but care for the patient is not even a concern."

"Never billed my insurance for my visit after I requested multiple times. Instead closed my account and was sent to collections. My credit was affected. Good luck. Never returning."

"Dr. Mendelsohn is an exceptional doctor and surgeon. He and his staff have taken excellent care of me through surgeries and injuries. They also understand we want to wear cute shoes and have pretty toenails :) so they address those cosmetic issues as well. I highly recommend them!"

"We have used this place frequently but lately I am beginning to think that they are a little hung up on money. We have always paid our bills. Our HSA provider changed and our card would not go through and they would not do the treatment for our daughter even though my husband called and said he would arrange payment. Not good for a medical practice to refuse treatment. Being a regular patient with good payment history does not seem to cut it with these folks"
