"At first Dr. Koyi was responsive when we met for medication telehealth appointments. However, I have been unable to reach her via Bloom Health for refills on medication after calling twice, having the pharmacy contact her, and after speaking and emailing her secretary. She seems to have dropped off the face of the earth leaving me to rely on a stopgap prescription from my GP until I find a new doctor. Her handling of this situation has been irresponsible and unprofessional."

"I am very upset with Dr. Koyi and her practice. I had two falls and left a message to her know since it may have been one of the newer medications I started. I tried reaching out to Dr. Koyi and also went to my primary care doctor. My primary care doctor told me it could be from my medication and to consult with my psychiatrist. I tried calling and let her staff know what happened and they told me she would call me back. After three days I called again and they said they would mark the message as “urgent” and assured me she would call me back. I decided to do my own research and found out the trileptal I was on can cause vertigo so I decided to quit it on my own without any guidance. I still hadn’t heard back so I called after hours to speak with the on call doctor. When I called nobody answered. I finally called a fourth time to reach out to Dr. Koyi and they told me she was on vacation and that I would have to wait until after her vacation to speak with her. I insisted that I needed to speak with someone so finally I was referred to another doctor who was filling in for Dr. Koyi. I understand that Dr. Koyi was on vacation however I am not sure why I couldn’t speak the doctor who was filling in for her in the first place. The doctor I spoke to agreed with me that I should stop the trileptal and assured me Dr. Koyi would call me back once she got back from her vacation. Again, I never received a call. I felt like I kept getting brushed off. I then get a phone call to tell me that my appointment will have to be rescheduled for a month later. Fine. I will try to hold off for another month, I told myself. After waiting almost a month for my appointment I get called to reschedule again. This time however I am not able to make the only appointment time they had available since I was given very short notice…. So I was told I would have to wait yet another month to see Dr. Koyi. At this point I felt like nobody cared. I understand that there are more serious cases with patients who need more urgent help than myself but I felt neglected. I believe Dr. Koyi’s behavior is borderline unethical."
