Reviews of Elaine Ellis Center Of Health
"I love the GYN’s. But the receptionists are very rude. I been coming here for awhile now and still get the same feeling about them. They are not friendly at all. I’m young and I usually don’t care about stuff like that but it’s just been tooo many times with them."
"Dr Dunmoore was a great GYN. The office is always clean and sanitary. However, the office struggles with time management. I always wait over 30-45 minutes to be seen for my scheduled appointment. Even after her departure (retirement) not much has changed. Please do better and consider your patients time."
"Wife went here for an obgyn consultation and it was a complete mess. They had a different doctor see her than the one she scheduled without her consent, the new doctor (Jamiere Smith) was falling asleep while talking to her, pressured her to take a prescription despite my wife saying she didn't want to, and spoke in a very condescending way. The doctor didn't provide any useful information beyond what our family doctor told us. Then the location submits the claim to the insurance and use a 3rd doctor's name. We ended up finding another obgyn in the Johns Hopkins network and are much happier with the care received. I would not recommend anyone to visit this facility if there are any other options."
"If I can give this place a ZERO because that’s what they deserve. I had my first dental appointment today at this location. I had taken my 2 years old son to this place before so I decided that I should have the same dental location. I had my appointment 4 45pm but office called me to change it to earlier time because he doctor needed to leave. I arrived at 3:30pm after rushing from my job, and took my son with me because I didn’t have no one to watch him so I had no choice. My son is two, he likes to count objects because I am always teaching him to count. So while waiting in the lobby to be seeing, and after 15 minutes of patiently waiting, my son started to walk around counting the empty chairs. He was not bothering anyone. He was only counting empty chairs in a very calmed voice. A girl from the offices asked to retrain him, that he needed to be seating down. I told her that he was a toddler, that if I hold him against his will he was going to cry or scream. What toddler likes to be tied up? I asked customers if they were bothered by my son, they ALL said no. They said leave him, he is just doing great. A minute later the office manager came to me to say that he can not walk, that he needed to be restrained, seating in a chair. I asked how can I make him stay still. It was 430pm and they still had not called me yet they were bothered by my son counting Chairs. They said. That I could not be there with my son that I needed to leave. All the clients told the manager that he was fine, that he was not doing anything wrong yet they insisted that he needed to be on a chair. They asked me to leave and when another client tried to help that were rude to her also. This place is rude, they are evil as humans. Please avoid this place, specially if you have children. They say they are family friendly but they are far from being one. My family will never step a foot at Elaine Ellis Health Center."
"Nothing but bad experiences! I was referred here and I’m not sure why…The front desk staff are always too busy. The manager of the front desk is the worst! I’ll give props to Nidia because she did try to schedule my appointments earlier AFTER I complained about the 2hr + wait time to see my OBGYN. You can wait on them but they’ll rush you. Dr. Meyers wasn’t bad but the OBGYN is over booked with no time to truly care or listen. I’m almost 4 mos pregnant and I called about pains and test results almost a month ago and never received a call back. Trying to get a hold of the office is a rarity. I’m currently looking for a new office. Definitely not the experience you want for your first pregnancy"
