Cedar Ridge School

Cedar Ridge School, located at 12146 Cedar Ridge Road in Williamsport, Maryland, is a unique institution that focuses on using children's natural curiosity to teach essential skills such as math, reading, and critical thinking. At Cedar Ridge School, we believe in a whole-child approach to education, where teachers, administrators, counselors, and support staff work together to meet the intellectual, social, behavioral, and emotional needs of each student.

Our curriculum includes instruction in Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, and Related Arts for grades one through eight, as well as high school credit courses required for graduation. We offer a highly structured environment with small student to staff ratios and provide behavioral and therapeutic support to boys with emotional difficulties.

In addition to traditional academic instruction, Cedar Ridge School also offers individual and group counseling, including therapeutic activities such as horseback riding and animal-assisted therapy. Our clinical personnel design and conduct groups to address special needs and help students overcome challenges.
