"Too often only one checkout open ! While shopping Saturday at noon only one checkout open with long line of shoppers very frustrated saying they plan to shop elsewhere! Something needs to be done before everyone starts shopping at McAffrey's !!"

"Last night, 11/18/23, we stopped in your store for doughnuts. Your robot met us at the door. We don’t appreciate having your robot in close proximity to us and getting in our way as we tried to push our cart down an aisle. Anyway, we managed to select our doughnuts but we couldn’t check them out at the self-service register. Also there was no note near the doughnut station to clarify how to pay for them. To add to my irritation, an employe expressed her disapproval of my movement past the self checkout stations in an effort to find another way to pay for the doughnuts. She asked loudly, “Where are you going?” Why didn’t she approach me as I was attempting to look for a code for those doughnuts? Overall, it’s not just an unpleasant experience, but shopping here also feels like harassment. How does your store continue to attract customers and remain open?"

"They will stocked clean and intuitively designed supermarket with reasonable pricing and fresh ingredients. Very helpful stuff. They offer lots of other services like curbside. On many things, the even offer more reasonable prices than some of the bulk purchasing stores when you do the math."

"Nightmare checkout system, understaffed, prices higher than better grocery stores, also my shopping cart opened up and some products fell and one product opened up when it fell. Really I want to focus on the understaffed issue. This store expects ONE cashier to be enough for a busy lunchtime checkout. The customers here are NOT happy to have to self checkout for big grocery trips. It seemed everyone was frustrated at checkout. I have no idea how this place is in business behaving like this. Highway robbery is the only thing that comes to mind. The other store across the street is a high end small grocery store so this giant is the big one around here. I’m not always in town here so I am very happy to report I almost never will have a reason to come back here. This place is being run into the ground. It feels like they’re doing a social experiment on us shoppers seeing how we’ll respond to literally one available cashier. This is nuts honestly"

"Oof. So, mostly I'm making this as a wake-up call, because tonight it was obvious that this store is really struggling from mis-management. Someone at the top is setting a bad example, and over time I've watched this location deteriorate to the point where it was this evening. As soon as I pulled in, I noticed that the parking lot was a mess, carts everywhere, carts overflowing from the stalls and causing a hazard. It was almost comical: I get to the door, and there was a single large cart left, which I didn't need and left for someone getting a full load of groceries. I walked clear to the other side of the store to find a basket, and you could tell, nothing was being maintained: Every checkout lane was dirty, full of baskets, also just piles of baskets in the middle of the floor randomly. The rest of the store really varies day by day. Deli is always a 5/5 if you order fresh sliced. Cleanliness really depends when you go here, but has been on the decline for over a year. Today was really bad, though- see pics of the checkout I had to use. Unfortunately, there seems to be very few staff on-hand to clean or take care of the store, but even the ones who were there were not taking much responsibility. I can't remember how long it's been since I've seen a supermarket in such disrepair, but it was really striking. As I left a half hour later, I realized that every cart stall in the entire lot was still overflowing...such a shame."
