Reviews of Harford Primary Care at North Avenue at Bel Air
"I recently had a disheartening experience at this doctor's office when seeking treatment for an illness, and I can't help but feel like a textbook case rather than a human being. This kind of treatment only adds to the crisis in healthcare in America. Therefore this is a issues I most speak on. From the moment I arrived at the office, I felt like I was being shuffled through a routine rather than being attended to as an individual. The front desk staff barely said Hello and the nurse assistant never even made eye contact with me. The doctor's approach was rushed, and it seemed as though she was more focused on adhering to a standard protocol than on understanding my specific situation. When I expressed my symptoms and concerns, the doctor's response was dismissive. It was clear that my input was not being valued, and I left the office feeling unheard. Which is not the way you're supposed to feel when you entrust your health in another's hands. Being treated like a textbook case and having my concerns dismissed only contributes to the growing healthcare crisis in America. Patients should be seen as individuals with unique needs and not just as a set of symptoms to be quickly diagnosed and treated. It's crucial for healthcare providers to take the time to listen to their patients, thoroughly assess their symptoms, and consider their overall well-being. The physician never took the time to test me for certain illnesses that my symptoms were aligned with, which led to weeks of me not feeling well. Disheartening, this happens far too often in the healthcare industry. The dismissive attitude displayed by the doctor only serves to exacerbate the disconnect between patients and healthcare providers. This kind of approach does a disservice to patients and can have serious implications for their health. It's essential for doctors to cultivate a more empathetic and patient-centered approach, one that acknowledges the individuality of each person seeking care."
"I see Dr. Smith at Harford primary Care. He is an excellent physician and gets down to the business of diagnosing my medical issues quickly and accurately. He is a true professional in every sense of the word."
"Was seeing Dr. Andrews at this location after he left his previous location. He was very unhelpful, judgmental and had an attitude. He wasn't always like that he was actually quite on point in the beginning. Asked to be seen by a new doctor and Harford Primary Care literally forced me to choose between staying with a doctor who made me feel uncomfortable and didn't accomplish anything or completely leave their practice. So I left."
"I was seeing a physician there. I went in there in excruciating pain. Debilitating pain, my physician prescribed me 800 mg ipuprophine. I needed something much stronger!! It turns out I needed a complete hip replacement. I was at pain management for months!!! For some reason he didn’t believe me or wanted me to be in pain!!! Either way it was not what I needed!!! So I left the practice and now work with a doctor that has a little more compassion then the service I received there. I have a new hip and I’m healing wonderfully. Don’t be afraid to question or seek asecond opinion. It was worth it for me!!!"
"No experience outside Dr. Andrews but after having him insult my therapist I won't be seeing him anymore."
