"What's the point of being a doctor When y'all wanna put money before a childs health"
"Took a client to this center on the York hospital grounds. The office staff were friendly and professional. The appt had been canceled unbeknownst to us. They were able to give us an appt with only a 40 min wait. The doctor was nice, thorough and spent time with us assessing and determining the best course of treatment for the medical concerns. Excellent family practice facility."
"Let me tell you how unprofessional this office and staff are. They are super disorganized and it takes the doctor's forever to get back to you. It is seriously one of the worst medical places to exist. It is seriously sad that this place is allowed to be open and treat patients. Also the lack of communication between the pharmacy and this office staff and doctors is absolutely insane almost to the point of non-existent it took almost 3 weeks to get one prescription filled!!! This place is a joke and you would be better off finding some place a little further out of the way than going here!"
"I had an appointment with Kelley Fitzgerald at the Thomas Hart Family Practice located at 1001 S. George Street, York, PA 17403 six months ago. I scheduled that appt. because I had concerns about a thyroid issue and I needed a prescription for high blood pressure meds. At that appt., I filled out all initial patient forms and Kelley Fitzgerald examined me. Upon taking my blood pressure it was indeed elevated: 160 over 90. Since I weigh only 115 pounds, that blood pressure reading was high. That appt. I asked Kelley Fitzgerald to write me a prescription for my blood pressure med and she would not. She however scheduled me for blood/lab tests which was done the next morning. Upon Kelley Fitzgerald receiving the results that confirmed a thyroid issue, via the phone, she prescribed Synthroid for the thyroid and again nothing for my high blood pressure. This morning I phoned her office requesting that Kelley Fitzgerald order a prescription to my pharmacy for my blood pressure meds which I am in DIRE NEED. I received a call back from her assistant stating ‘Kelley Fitzgerald wants to schedule another appointment since six months was when I saw her.” WOW, I told the assistant that my earlier call was NOT about scheduling another appointment — I was in need of a prescription for my high blood pressure (which she experienced the day of her taking my pressure at the appointment), THAT day Kelley Fitzgerald should have written a prescription or called in a prescription to the pharmacy for my high blood pressure meds. By Kelley Fitzgerald only caring about making another appointment demonstrates her LACK OF CONCERN for her PATIENT. She already had my medical history and was aware that I had high blood pressure. If she was concerned about getting the lab results first, after receiving them and receiving confirmation about my thyroid condition and everything else was normal, Kelley Fitzgerald should have not only written a prescription for Synthroid but she even more so should have called into the pharmacy my blood pressure meds which I am in need of. Whatever happened to the Hippocratic Oath that physicians took to do no harm to patients? Where is her concern for a patient to have the best quality of life? How could she take my blood pressure in her office and she saw herself firsthand that my blood pressure was high — why didn’t she prescribe meds to lower it as she prescribed Synthroid? Kelley Fitzgerald is only concerned with billing insurance. I do not recommend going to Kelley Fitzgerald if you have a health concern. Make sure you search elsewhere."
"I have been going here for 3 years. I have never seen the same doctor twice. I use the term doctor loosely, as they are residents. The communication is horrible - I mean really bad. I am very ill and fought all day to get authorization for a necessary blood test. I was threatened by a practical nurse with whom I had a disagreement - "do you want our help or not?" Then, she wrote a bunch of blatant lies in her clinical notes which are now part of my medical record! Comments like these could affect the treatment I receive and by default, my health."
