"I now have to make a fourth appointment with a specialist who can perform surgery to remove the IUD that was inserted by Johns Hopkins women's health 7 years ago. I reported this issue to Johns Hopkins women's health and the person who picked up the phone to speak to me absolutely did not make note of this, did not take me seriously. they are not tracking the negligence of their doctors. I should have walked straight out of the office that day when I came in for my IUD insertion, and one of the doctors said to me, now your pap smear was irregular during your last visit... I was not informed of this. in fact I called women's health to inquire as to the results of my pap smear, and they told me they would call me if there were any irregularities. that I did not need to call them. however there were irregularities that they did not tell me about, that I only learned about when I went for my IUD insertion. you see a different doctor for your IUD insertion than you do for regular visits. it's very hard to see the same doctor for regular visits. and sometimes the students don't know the difference between breast tissue and lumps in your breast! I cannot tell you how painful this experience with trying to remove this IUD that Johns Hopkins inserted has been. and it's not over. not only that, but it's costing me money. a lot more than what the FREE simple removal of an IUD should cost. my ordeal is not over. and I don't know how much worse it's going to get. and Johns Hopkins women's health does not care, at all. do not trust them with your health. please, I strongly urge you, find another women's health office. use Planned Parenthood... go anywhere else."
"Very good docs. They sometimes run late because they deal with so many complicated patients, but I wouldn't want anyone else taking care of me if me or the baby had a complication"
"i have been seeing Dr.Elko for over 6 years now, and i love her. I work in the medical field so i, definitely know how some patients taken longer than others, and that can make times run behind. I am perfectly okay with that fact because i want my doctor to spend time speaking to me and not rushing off to see another patient. I also try to make sure my questions are brief and i personally try to be respectful of other patients that are being seen that day as well. So i never get upset when a doctors office runs behind. Dr.Elko was with my every step of the way through all of my issues and has been supportive and very helpful. I love working with her, and i will continue to do so until she retires. Thanks for the great service."
"As requested, I arrived for my 11:15 a.m. appointment on time, signed in and waited. At 11:30 am, I see a woman pushing a cart and announcing “food’s here”. Then I hear an associate tell my associate, “Your food is here, do you want to eat?” So I guess she did, because I am still sitting there at 11:45 waiting...I had another appointment I was going to miss if I kept this one, so I left. Just hoping I don’t get charged. Nobody bothered to call with an apology/explanation. And, please don’t send me a survey!! I should also add that the front desk receptionists were very helpful and pleasant."
"Horrible service! I know that I’m pregnant again and they can’t make up their minds! You know why? Because they don’t know how to do their own jobs! They say that I was pregnant then another time, they say another!"
