Reviews of WellSpan Neurology
"This office has denied care for my father with dementia. We have essentially been blacklisted from receiving care from any other wellspan neurologist. After having a disagreement on medication, Dr Lin will not release us to see another doctor in this network. As a full time caregiver to someone with end stage dementia I do not have the time nor the patience for their office politics and fragile egos. Woefully inadequate. Seek help elsewhere."
"Tried to get in as a new patient and was told the earliest appointment was 6 months out. This was unfortunate, but I was understanding. Then, only one week before my appointment, I was told that the doctor had an emergency and that I needed to reschedule. The earliest they had was another 4 months out. I was frustrated, but they assured that it probably wouldn't happen again. Finally, a couple weeks before my rescheduled appointment, I was told the doctor was once again out, and I had to reschedule again. So, after nearly a year of waiting, I've given up trying to get an appointment here."
"My grandson sees Dr barron and he is fantastic! He's very attentive, explains things in layman's terms and is welcome to questions.hes very knowledgeable and I could not ask for a better neurologist. The nurses/staff are all very friendly as well. Have not ever had a bad experience in the 3 years I've gone there."
"I’m a Type 1 Diabetic and I was going to this Neurology appointment with Dr Lin to confirm my Neuropathy diagnosis that I’ve been having treated by numerous doctors over the years since 2016. Now that I’m apply for disability, I was asked to go see Dr Lin to confirm my longstanding diagnosis. The first part of the test, performed by the nurse, did seem to show sings of neuropathy in the form of lessened electrical signals being picked up by their machine in portions of my body around and below my ankles. Dr Lin performed the second test, which included probing a relatively large needle through the dermis and into the muscle tissues of my calf and thigh of both legs, as well as a final needle in the small of my back. After asking if I’d ever had problems with back pain I had explained that I had in fact herniated my L4-L5 disc back in 2012 and I had been in pain management as a result for more than a year. It was at this point that Dr Lin tested my lower back somehow by inserting this needle into my back against my spine. While the needle did not seem to bother me more than I would expect while puncturing the skin of my calves and thighs, I could not steel myself from crying out quite loudly, asking Dr Lin to remove the object post haste. With my cries subsided I could hear Dr Lin chuckling and saying “I thought that would be the case.” To which I replied “The pain, or the test result?” Dr Lin informed me that he doesn’t think I have Neuropathy at all! This whole time, all the medical staff and myself were running ourselves ragged in our desperate attempts, while all the while Dr Lin had this mystery knackered before it ever began. “Back pain is all that is.” Proclaimed Dr Lin. He mever did explain the numbness/tingling/pain in my hands. They didn’t seem to be of much concern to Mr Lin. I don’t think that would fit his hypothesis. And in return I never bothered to explain that “back pain” had been my initial symptom leading to the original discovery of Neuropathy back in 2017. Now my medical record makes no mention of my numbness/tingling/pain. I’m free and clear, it’s a miracle! I’ll let you decide."
"Dr. Lin is attentive, personable, and thorough. The staff are nice and efficient. No waiting forever to be seen."
