Reviews of Brinton Woods Health & Rehabilitation Center at Winfield
"This place needs to be shut down 100% the staff/directors here are careless and they neglect their patients mentally & physically!!! My grandfather was a patient here years ago & he suffered from these careless workers of Brinton Woods! He would ask to be changed and they would not.... their attitudes are disgusting and they are rude to their patients. My grandfather asked if there was a bathroom nearby while away from his room & they said no left him in the hallway for the nurse to come get him & when he told her that he already used the bathroom on himself she pushed him to his room shut the curtain and left him in there to sit in it for HOURS ! Do NOT send your loved ones here... im sick to my stomach just finding out about this ... this place is a disgrace"
"Brinton Woods has handled care of patients during the COVID epidemic extremely well and has always been excellent with communication during a time that has been very challenging for elder care. I have been very happy with their care for my mom and really appreciate the hard work that all the staff do. thanks so much"
"So far I can only give 4 stars because I haven't been able to visit the facility physically because of COVID. My grandfather has been there for a few weeks recovering and receiving rehab for a few different reasons and my family and I could not be happier with how he has been receiving care thus far. The entire staff from the social worker, to the therapists, and his amazing nurse are all very responsive and they give great updates. His nurse, Theresa, makes sure to keep in contact with us as a family and updates us frequently on his condition. She has been such a Godsend. She is sweet and patient with him, and I could not ask for better. This has been an awesome experience, and I could not be happier."
"This rehab is terrible! As soon as you walk in the door an unpleasant odor overwhelms you. The care is desperately lacking.. They couldn't take a blood pressure when someone passed out because the machine wouldn't work. Kudos to the physical therapist! They are the only bright light in this place. The staff is RUDE! The patients get llittle to no day to day care."
"I recently was a rehab patient at Brinton Woods for 10 days. As a licensed Social Worker who works in a rehab/long term care facility, I am well aware of family expectations in searching for an appropriate facility for their loved ones. The entire staff of Brinton Woods was very attentive and professional. The response time when requesting assistance was wonderful! The nurses and GNA's were caring and proficient in their job. I never noticed any odor in any area of the facility. The rehab team, both PT and OT, were FANTASTIC in their knowledge and ability to translate exercises that helped with my recovery. Kudos to all from nursing, aides, rehab, environmental services, and dietary should be commended for their attention to all details of their profession. IT WAS A PLEASURE and I would recommend this facility to all family, loved ones, and friends."
