"If you want to deal with front desk’s who literally hate their lives and job. This is the place for you!! I had requested to get my medical records about two months ago still haven’t received. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. The doctors are nice but they rush your appointment. You wait for two hours just for the doc to say Hi and Bye. I’m happy to say that I will no longer be a patient at the CCI"
"Great clinic with nice doctors. Here's the phone cheat sheet to get to a live staff person at the medical clinic: 1. English; 1. Medical Services; 1. Gaithersburg; 2. Appts. 1 pm- 2pm is the lunch hour for clinic staff, so don't phone during lunch. The CCI staff members go above and beyond for their patients. They treat the most vulnerable individuals as a federally qualified health center, so don't treat this clinic as if it was some fancy concierge medicine. It's not easy providing excellent care but CCI does provide it."
"I has an appointment today as a new patient. My appointment was at 1:10 to see a new Primary Care Dr. Joseph McKelvey. I had some troubles finding the office so I tried calling to get better directions. Some one answered and then hung up on me. I tried calling a second time, and finally got someone. I explained to him that I was having trouble finding the place and now running late at this point. I asked him if it was OK to still come or did I need to reschedule... he asked me how far away I was... at this point, I was just about to pull in to the stop mall. Fist of all, there are 3 separate buildings under the name CCI. I went in to each to be told it was the wrong one (after standing in line at each one ).... it would have been nice to have been told (as a new patient and also as someone who has already communicated that was having trouble finding the place) that there were multiple buildings and givin direction to the right one. Needless to say, when I actually walked in, I was 10 minutes late (go figure) and was told that I needs to reschedule. I had to wait 2 months for this appointment I will definitely NOT be rescheduling. This was such a terrible and draining experience."
"I am a first-time patient of the one in Gaithersburg Maryland I went in the guy with the nail polish wrote my name wrong on the paperwork but it was fixed before I left the doctor was friendly and very insightful on what I already know that I should be doing as far as health-wise. The line to get your blood drawn was very long and I know my name was maybe the fourth person in the line but it was just very drawn out. The one thing that I can say I did not like was that at noon I wish somebody would have told me that they locked the doors cuz I had no idea how I was going to get out of the building to get to my ride that was outside but luckily another patient told me about the side door that leads out and whatever but when you go remember is the first parking lot before the stop sign it's Building 100 then when you go past the stop sign that's the WIC office and then there's another office that deals with whatever they deal with when it comes down to women's health LBG t community I believe I'm missing a letter I apologize but they do a very good job you do have to find your mammogram lab that's what I had to do but other than that besides it being a multicultural doctor's office I was pleasantly surprised and I think I may consider being a long-term patient. Oh yeah by the way the nurse that did my triage was very helpful that part I did enjoy that because she took time even though they were short on the high dosage of covid and they couldn't do something without seeing your covid card and I think it was a low type of flu shot that they had in stock at the time but other than that the doctor Escobar so almost all my medication that I was prescribed and all the stuff I take over the counter so I'll see you in 2 months and I'll probably do my blood in the same two months"
"Nice clinic. Nice enthusiastic staff. Great phlebotomist. In house labs! Clean, beautiful space. No elevators needed since the clinic is on the 1st floor. Bus 61 stops at Girard and e diamond street."
