"Excellent office. Staff is nice and accommodating. Dr. Kandaswamy is pleasant and compassionate. She has been my doctor for almost 8 years. Strongly recommend her."
"DO NOT COME HERE!!! This review is for the MEDICAL side: Do NOT go here for ANY urgent care. This is a long review. Short version: doctor has a lack of professionalism to handle things in a timely manner / she basically abandoned her patient who desperately needed a solution to not make things worse. I went yesterday 12/26 for a follow up for my cough I've had for 8 days, that was getting worse. One of the medications the doctor prescribed was Promethazine and Codeine to help me SLEEP because I haven't been able to sleep due to my cough. Upon arriving at the pharmacy, I was informed that they don't sell it anymore. They sent an alternate RX request but my history with doctors offices made me take matters into my own hands and they still fumbled the ball... I called at 3:24pm to inform them I needed an alternative RX, the front desk girl didn't seem to understand that and proceeded to ask me "so you don't want the medication anymore." I explained it to her 5 different ways and I don't think she actually understood that. Must be new. Should not put her on the phones yet, as she had zero clue how to handle the situation. Because I have medicine that reacts to a lot of medications, I asked if I could speak to the doctor, to which I was told, the doctor doesn't talk on the phone for RX requests, they can just leave a note. The front desk asked me to call other pharmacies to see if anyone else had it. I called around town and apparently no one is selling it. I called back at 3:47 to inform the front desk that no one has it and that I need an alternative. I had to explain to her all over again.. she was again, still lost / not understanding it. Doctor finally called me back at 4:37pm. I missed the call because I had finally been able to sleep for about 2 hours. She had left a voicemail stating she would be there until 5pm and that if she didn't hear back, she will call me back right after 10am. I called back 4:41pm. Exactly 4 mins later. The front desk informed me she has already left the building. Apparently no one has the doctor's person contact- not even the office manager. To call her and ask her why she left before 5 if she told me she was going to be there until 5pm to fix my medication. The manager let out the most I-hate-my-job sigh and said "why did she put me in this predicament." All she could offer me was to "beg for my forgiveness." Which does absolutely nothing for me. I had to call out of work sick today because I again, couldn't sleep. I've lost a day of income because of this. And will probably lose another day of income because I have zero confidence this will be resolved. Because the doctor effectively abandoned me, I scheduled an urgent care visit with another provider. They were able to get me an alternative medication. I called back today at 10:43am to remind them to fix this ASAP. I mentioned the alternative medication prescribed to me did NOT work. The front desk staff today *seemed* more competent, as she immediately understood the situation and what she needed to do. She said she would follow up and give me a call back. I had heard nothing by 3pm. I called back at 3:12pm to ask for an update. The front said there were two communication requests sent and that she will get back to me by the end of the day. It's 3:50pm and I have yet to hear back, I'm not confident in this doctor to handle this situation. Will probably visit another urgent care to get this resolved. I've never experienced such extreme unprofessional in any medical office. All this stress has simply made my condition worse. They were supposed to call me back by EOD. They didn't. I called back at 4:48pm, was put on hold, the phone immediately hung up right at 5 and I could only leave a voicemail when I called back. So incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL!!!"
"In 59 years have never dealt with a more ignorant doctors office and I would never advise anyone to go here. I personally video chatted with the doctor before meeting her for a physical. She gets my records so she knows all my medications I go in she asked me a couple questions she didn’t do any physical at all And then she just missed me as a patient because my medication‘s are too difficult for her to handle and here I have a psychiatrist but I had to call the same number 26 phone calls today. Nobody answers they don’t respond to emails and when you’re on medication that you’re supposed to take daily, they put at least mean my health at risk and I just want to warn anybody don’t ever see the Primary Doctor here. She doesn’t even deserve 1 star… As further, who answers the phones 25 calls, hang up 18 calls last week hung up my call from someone else’s phone they put me on hold and I’ll disconnect the call just a warning to anyone"
"Well I'm still a patient and I transferred over from my old doctor that I was with for several years. I thought that I wasn't getting the proper treatment for my old doctor. But as soon as this place found out that I was on a certain medication that's not prescribed by them, I feel like I'm being treated differently. I've never had to see her or him after the date of when I saw them the month before so this month I ran out of medication I didn't have none to take yesterday or this morning. I will say something when I see her but my insurance allows me to fill my prescriptions two to three days sometimes up to a week prior. I'm not asking for that but if I see you on the 23rd and that's a Thursday I should see you that following Thursday that month even if it's before the date of the 23rd"
"I had a falling out with one of the nurse practitioners there that was my “Dr.” for a year. Just because I disagreed with the way I was prescribed he scorned me in our next virtual doctor visit. He tried to heighten things and retaliated against the justification of not wanting to take care of his patients logically and morally. One of the things he said to me was that what he did to me didn’t affect me and I’m basically a lier. Bottom line he believed that I couldn’t even come back at them bc it wasn’t normal and my reason was already justified, including that either way I dealt with them he took it in his own hands. I was so violated. I’m a 42 year old woman that’s been on an amphetamine for over 20 years. I have been prescribed to vyvanse of 80mg a day and because my script changed back to adderall he prescribed me 7.5 mg twice a day then to 10mg twice a day in our last visit. Do the math, the misinterpretation of stereotypes as your career and disrespect of a patient too! He couldn’t have wait to chew me out and he sure did! And I was shocked that Montgomery County Crisis Center refers and uses them and he knew I knew. I miss Dr Sessay. She abruptly left and I wished I left too then."
