"Ultrasound tech Allison gave us a wonderful in depth experience with our baby! She answered every question and was very good about pointing everything out to us. Also loved that you can see your baby on a monitor as they are doing the scan."
"I checked in electronically like it states to do so on many of their signs. I was 10 minutes early just like my UPMC app stated. It said I was checked in and they’d be with me shortly. They apparently did not know I was there, so I ended up “missing” my appointment that I’ve been already been waiting a month for. The best they could do was 2 weeks from now for results, even though it had been at their fault. Just an extremely frustrating experience. Thankful for those who were considerate and tried to try help me figure something else out."
"I was a little taken aback by the reviews but we went with upmc because it was recommended by a family member. The staff was all incredibly sweet and patient. I had lots of questions and I was a completely new patient and new to having a baby. All of the staff from the front desk, to the nurses, to our midwife, everyone was super sweet and seemed genuinely happy for us. We got some of our test results back really fast as well which I didn't expect."
"Very dissatisfied and angry with this place. We reported to our nurse that we were having several signs of pre eclampsia (very high blood pressure, swelling, headaches) and she never documented the readings. Our doctor was trying to allow us to deliver early but said that since there was no documentation of our blood pressure, we couldn’t. After several failed attempts with this office, we checked our blood pressure and went into the hospital ourselves. We were diagnosed with severe pre eclampsia and had a very long and rough delivery. This could have been prevented but one nurse decided not to log in our readings. We have since reached out with questions and the same nurse blew us off."
"Really good experience with this place. Despite the name, they also provide services for trans men and nonbinary people. They will actually converse with you about what YOU want to do with your body and how they can best help you achieve your goals. The Huntingdon location doesn't have anyone who is very familiar with transgender issues as of my last visit, but they've still been respectful and upfront about not knowing (rather than just assuming like so many places will). I've felt comfortable with every practitioner I've seen and have never felt talked down to or dismissed."
