"This establishment is a blessing to the community. I wish they had a location in every city. They help a lot of people who really need it. I am grateful to the employees who volunteer their time and effort. Also a big thanks to those who also drop off donations that other families can benefit from."
"While at CareNet, the staff would not stop talking about religion even when I repeatedly told the staff that I have religious trauma. Then after delivering some rather bad news to me, AGAIN they asked to pray for me. I have nothing against religion, but they do not respect your wishes at all if you say no to it. Go here if you’re a Christian. If you aren’t, I wouldn’t."
"Their disclaimer says they do not perform or refer for abortions but their website makes it appear that they will provide you with all the information on abortion options. Want an abortion don't go here, want to have a baby but don't have resources maybe they can help. If it were me, I would get it in writing what they can actually provide if you do want to have a baby and plan to count on them for the services they claim to offer. Don't take their brochures and their word for it."
"This program is a beautiful thing! I was surprised to learn that care net offers the incentive program known as 'Earn While You Learn'. For completing your weekly lesson you earn 'Boutique Bucks', which allow the expecting parents to pick up free items. These items are based on each client's needs. I also love that some of these items are handmade from people in our community. This program has been so helpful during my pregnancy. Since the pandemic started it has been very difficult for expecting parents to find educational courses. I looked online and found some interesting classes, however, they are charging hundreds of dollars. As a single mother who relies heavily on government assistance, I knew I wouldn't be able to afford those classes. I enjoy the weekly class because it is not too long or formal, and still has factual information from medical workers and interviews from multiple expectant mothers. The interviews are recent and talk about what it is like birthing during a pandemic. It is a relief to feel you are not 'in on this' alone. Having caring people in our community right now is so essential! I am so grateful and blessed to have this program and the volunteers that run it."
