Old World Barbering

"Originally sought out this barbershop because I’ve struggled in the past with bad haircuts for my 2 year old son…who does not enjoy getting his hair cut. I’ve tried kids places, but they always end up butchering his hair so I thought a barbershop with good reviews for kids cuts would be a good change. I was wrong. It was obvious my son was going to be difficult from the moment we stepped in, and Brandon didn’t do much to help the situation at all or make my son comfortable. He even made a comment that I “shouldn’t reward his bad behavior” when I tried to put my son’s favorite show on my phone to distract him…again, he’s 2. He also wouldn’t let my son sit on my lap to make him feel comfortable for the haircut. It was clear he doesn’t have kids of his own or understand how haircuts can be traumatic for some kids. I recently took him to Matt’s Barbershop in Flemington and what a difference it was. The barber let him sit on my lap and did not get mad when he “wasn’t behaving”. Long story short, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have a child who struggles with haircuts."

"This is definitely a men's haircuts only place. They did such a great job and were meticulous. Very professional. All of the barbers are really good and consistent. They always do a really wonderful job on my men. Advice: You need to sign in (there's a notebook) and wait for your turn. Best times to go is during the daytime (on the weekdays), with not much wait time. It's cash only, so bring enough plus tip."

"We recently moved to the area and this barbershop is right around the corner. Everyone is very welcoming, the shop is clean and professional. Ermanno cuts both my son, and my hair. He’s done outstanding work and is great with kids. I’ve also seen the haircuts performed by the other guys there which are equally as good. Def check them out… It’s cash only… so bring cash or use their on-site ATM"

"I've been going here for a many years, I take my son here too...I walked into today and Stone Temple Pilots were playing on the speakers...sometimes its another great station...straight razors, air compressor hair clean up, and great conversation from any chair! No need to search anywhere else, its great to see professionals who take pride in there work...got a new cut today when saying do what you think looks good..very impressed as always. Update 10/27/2022 what a spot, made an epic experience for a father and a son wrestling season cut, photos below. Look no further, any barber in the place is great for adults or kids. End."
