"Sara Dickie sat on her laptop, refused to assess my back until I pulled my shirt up and asked her to. She seemed aggravated and short on time, disregarded my concerns and ultimately overlooked serious cervical issues on X-rays, refused to order an MRI and then had no follow-up with me afterwards. It wasn’t until an ER physician recommended the MRI that they found huge bone spurs almost severing my spinal cord, requiring immediate surgery. After seeing physicians ordered by the surgeon for follow up care, I called to get an appt for a minor issue and was told I was dropped for seeing one of the docs I was referred to for complications. Im a compassionate nurse who advocates better for others than myself, so I’m disappointed she didn’t recognize my desperate cry for help and treat me with respect knowing that’s common for medical providers. Extremely disappointed… have taken my kids there, but they wouldn’t know because I was just a medical record #."
"My experience was awful. Dr. Kristen L. Thomas Jones terrible. She wouldn't get down to the cause of my beet red hands. This year with my new primary clCare physician Euric Acid blood work was ordered, which came back in the normal range. In other words negative for gout like she kept saying. Plus that office wouldn't let me know what the put down, as my diagnosis . I had to call my pharmacy that I've gone too, for a long time, and get the diagnosis. 3 falls in 10 years is not frequent falls. Again, my new primary Care Physician changed the diagnosis. Nicole if she's still terrible at answering the phones. I told her I did not give her permission to type as we were talking. She got half of what I said wrong and inserted her own words. If I could rate minus 10 I would. I know several other people who aren't happy with that place duli"
"My family has been going there for years. We are still going there. The doctor is good and the nurses are nice. I revised this from 3 starts to 5. It used to be 3 stars because they had some major issues with their phone system but they have seemed to have fixed that and I no longer have a long wait time to make an appointment. Our wait time in the waiting room is always short and the place is super clean and quiet and friendly. I'm really glad that they listen to their patients and fixed their phone issue."
"After not having been to a general practitioner in over a decade, I decided to establish primary care with Harpers Ferry Family Medicine. As someone young and without a list of health issues while also being healthy overall, the process was very simple. During my visit, both doctors seeing me were welcoming and friendly in addition to helpful for the few concerns I did have. Prior to my appointment, the wait time was minimal. However, future appointments can only be up to nine months in advance, which is unusual to some degree as it is typical to schedule annual visits. Nevertheless, this is not a major inconvenience although a follow-up call will be required later."
"This place is horrible. If you need a routine close place to give you a well visit paper here you go. I genuinely love some of the doctors. However administration is hell. It takes months to get an appointment and I took my 13 month daughter who seemed off with her breathing and they literally said they couldn't even have a nurse look at her or oxygen levels. All they want you to do is overpay for medical care at the hospital. First place I went to out of WVU medicine immediately treated her asthma HEALING her as that should be their number one priority. Absolutely ridiculous."
