Urgent Care - Inwood

"Came in for my child's injured foot. After 2 hours of waiting, no one actually looked at my child's bandaged foot. They took her for an x-ray, told us nothing was broken, finally removed the bandages and told us they couldn't help us. They left her foot bleeding, didn't replace the bandage until we said something. They said they'd forward the x-ray to the ER but left the room before asking us which ER. They never did. We had to get a second x-ray at the ER and they found a fracture that this urgent care missed. When we left the Urgent Care, no one was at the front desk and all the lights were off as if they were closed, though their hours said otherwise. Really displeased with the care here."

"Giving a 1 star because 0 isn't an option... I came in and told the girl at the front counter about my issue, and explained to her that I did not have insurance. Alley explained that I would have to pay before being seen. As soon as my card was charged, she then told me it would be a 1.5 hour wait. HAD I KNOWN THIS, I WOULD HAVE WENT TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION! so I swallow my pain down, and wait. I've now been waiting for 2.5 hours and am being told it may be another 30 plus minutes because I don't have an appointment?!?! Still sitting here in pain... I ask Alley if I can get a discount for my very painful inconvenience... she laughs at me. I could have gone to the ER and seen someone faster. Guess there is no URGENT in Urgent Care... I will be filing complaints with the BBB and WVU Patients Advocasy. This is rediculous!"

"I had a horrible experience at this urgent care last night. We were told our wait time was going to be a few hours, and after waiting in our car for an hour my 7 year old was crying she was hungry so I ordered her some food. We were called in early and the food was on the way so I let the front desk know I had put in an order. I sat in the lobby with my daughter waiting for the nurse to come get us and we could hear everyone in the reception area making fun of us. Very rude comments were made. I was upset and told the nurse and he heard them as well and apologized on their behalf. Absolutely unprofessional and uncalled for. All because my child was hungry and sick."

"I just went in to Urgent Care as you can see they are open and don’t close for 20 minutes. However, I was turned away at the desk and told they are no longer seeing patients tonight because they are full…..you may also be able to see the parking lot where there are NO cars! Nor were there any patients in the waiting area or coming out the doors. I explained I was wheezing and having trouble swallowing, their response was….we open at 8am tomorrow morning! WVU is this really how people should be treated? Essentially telling them to go somewhere else?! This facility is a DISGRACE!!"
