"I showed up. The place was empty; no one else was there. I told him I needed a haircut and that my sister is very ill and I was going to visit her this morning. I drove from California to see her. I didn't have an appointment. He said he was expecting someone. He refused to cut my hair. No one else was anywhere nearby. If you're older or have infirmity, the two sets of stairs are very steep. The owner (I assume he was the owner) is cold and indifferent. There is no accommodation here. Neither with the premises, nor the owner."
