"Eleven stars. If you are serious about getting a ball fitted to you by a hyper-experienced professional who is genuinely passionate about this sport, this is the place to go. Lou Gentile is the guy. The fitting process took over two hours, and every minute was enjoyable. It was the bowling equivalent of being fitted for a bespoke suit by a Savile Row tailor. (Think King's Man.) I fully expect the result to be a precision-crafted prosthetic that will change and improve my game. In the first five minutes Lou explained to me all the reasons my old ball was working against me. The new one will be perfect for me. This experience was fantastic and well worth the very reasonable price, particularly where Lou sells you the ball, which I recommend. The bottom line is there is really no reason ever to use a house ball (or shoes, heaven forbid) when you can treat yourself to this awesome, singular experience for less than the price of a Phillies' game. The startlingly excellent service from this modest, little pro shop is one of the reasons the Main Line is a great place to live. If there was a Best of Philly category for bowling pro shops, this place would win it. If you bowl in a league, or even if you are a causal bowler like I am, just do this. If you are looking to buy a present for the man or woman who has everything, give this. Follow up: I saw a 30 to 40 point improvement in my scores on the first outing with the new ball."
