"I cannot recommend this place enough!!! I came in less than a month before my wedding with a new dress that needed alterations (unfortunately, my original dress was poorly altered by another seamstress to the point that I had given up and bought a $125 dress from Lulus) They were so kind!!! It was a tight timeline and I was panicking, but they said they would work overtime if they had to because this was important and there was no other option! It was my first time coming here and I couldn’t believe the generosity. I got the dress back the week of the wedding and it was PERFECT."

"Brought pants in on a Mon, for a wedding on a Friday (3pm wedding, 1 hour away), needed Friday by noon. Done!!!, I should also mention it was my first time there. I live closer to another establishment, It's worth the drive to use this place. I must add, alteration was flawless just by telling them what I wanted, they didn't see the pants on me, pretty amazing, Master Seamster(?) not sure if that's correct, I believe a man did the work. Thank you!!!"

"Look elsewhere if you need dress alterations. I paid $130 to get a little taken off the bottom and from the mid-section. It is my fault for not noticing when I picked up the dress, but a few weeks later when I wore it, I could tell that she hardly did anything to the dress. I was a bridesmaid and was extremely uncomfortable all day because my dress was sliding down and the straps were wrinkled and too large. The other bridesmaids had gone elsewhere, and the people who did their alterations took from the strap fabric and made adjustments to the breast cup area so that it stayed in place. Mind you, I have a very large chest, so the fact that it could not hold the dress up speaks to the dress not being altered properly."

"Update: after paying a ridiculous $75 for alterations and a press I've decided it was definitely over priced for the quality and somehow the dress is harder to zip even though it's not due to it being too tight. I don't know how they managed that. Definitely will look for a different spot next time we need any alterations of any sort. I forgot to take pictures of the dress before hand but I have after pictures of any help. The press job was done well since the dress was very wrinkly beforehand. And the dress does fit better than before. I just think it was over priced and that the press should automatically come with getting altercations as it has with anywhere else I've gone to. Original post: Brought in a $40 dress for simple alterations around the bust and shoulders. I was told for the alterations and a press (although anywhere else I've brought dresses to for alterations the press was included) the charge was $75!!! This is for a $40 dress. I thought it was a bit much, but after asking other people now I'm sure that I'm being over charged. We'll see how the dress comes out when it's picked up to see if I adjust my rating but right now I'm feeling pretty ripped off. I wish I took a before picture of the dress on my daughter to really show what alterations are being done..."

"I had my wedding gown altered in Thorndale Cleaners. Cherry is very accomodating and helpful. Very fast work all the alterations needed they finish quickly. I love the results you can't tell it's being altered and looks brand new. I can't wait to walk in the aisle with my wedding gown on my big day.
