"I will be honest and say that my rating is not based off their quality of work because we never had the opportunity to view their finished product due to their lack of responses. I've called and email multiple times to only receive a few responses back. I've received one quote based off of measurements that were done via our land plot and not walking around the property (even though they visited our home when no one was home). We're going with a company that is costing slightly more but their customer service has been worth it."

"I had a deck leading down to a patio with a fire pit installed recently by Patuxent Deck and Fence. I have a new construction home and the configuration was going to be very awkward based on the placement of our sliding glass door out to the backyard but Tom and the Patuxent Deck crew came up with a beautiful design and installed it flawlessly. Tom as the sales guy was there every step of the way and the construction crew were hard working, professional and you could tell all of them cared very much about what they do and the results they provide. Spring and Fall are obviously very busy time of year for them so if you can have a little patience through the sales process you won’t regret it. Install time was very quick. I am thrilled with how beautiful everything turned out and would highly recommend Patuxent Deck and Fence."

"Poor quality work & materials, I've had problems w/the gates from the time the fence was installed back in 2006. Now 6 years later the gate is finally broken where it won't even close/open, called PD&F for an estimate to repair the gate that was never properly built or installed and I never get a response, even though they say they will come out and estimate the job. There work & materials are not up to par.....I'd never ever use them again. Boards have buckled, popped off and are in need of replacement, had I known that there work was of this quality I would have never ever used them. Would I recommend them to my neighbors or friends...heck no. Now I have to call another fence builder to come out and fix the fence that was built and installed by PD&F. Do yourself a favor and hire a competent fence builder so you won't have to go through the headache and agony I have to deal with. NEVER AGAIN!"

"We just had a new fence installed by Patuxent Deck and Fence and they did a great job. Tom, the owner, gave us a very competitive quote and the work was done on time and done well by his crew. The wood products used in our fence are all excellent materials. Some additional fencing was needed and Tom took time out of his day to personally deliver the fencing to our home (which is not close to his place of business) so his workmen could finish the project. We recommend Tom and Patuxent Deck and Fence."
