"Hospital is an absolute joke, gave me medicine that gave me an allergic reaction and just gave me a Benadryl and sent me home, now the Benadryl wore off and I’m having a 160 heart rate sitting in bed the next morning, I would not recommend anyone to go to this hospital, THEY WILL KILL YOU!"

"place is average when i was 17, i was at Pathways in keyser and contracted COVID-19 and due to a large kidney stone. The first time was because of a kidney stone that grew rapidly. went from 1mm to 10.5mm in a little more than two days and had to have a procedure with an ultrasound done to break it up and admitted for three days to be sure it had passed. STAY 1 (Kidney Stone) DOCTOR EFFICIENCY: 7/10. i really felt like several doctors who i saw there had no clue what they were talking about. NURSE EFFICIENCY: 5/10. the nurses didnt really do much. mostly ignored me unless my BP cuff or O2 sat finger thing came off, as well as the 12 leads. DISCHARGE: 9/10. planned my discharge great, but never got the urology follow up call. STAY 2 (COVID-19 pneumonia) DOCTOR EFFICIENCY: 10/10. i was only in the ER this time. The doctor immediatly knew that something was wrong, as my sats were tanking rapidly and there were no left lung sounds and my right side was faint lung sounds. She ordered an immediate chest X-Ray and Chest/Abdomen CT scan. when it showed that my left lung was 94% full of fluid, and my right was 67% full, she immediatly told the Pathways staff that was with me that i was going to be airlifted to WVU J.W. Ruby Memorial Hosptial in morgantown, WV. NURSE EFFICIENCY: 9/10. Nurses were helpful getting me on oxygen and being sure i was comfortable. Minus one, she was openly expressing her views that COVID was fake and i was obviously faking what was happening. even though i was on high oxygen with a mask. DISCHARGE/TRANSFER: 100/10. Wish i would have been more alert for my first and only helicopter ride (lol), but they were amazing with the transfer process. The ER doc already suspected severe pnuemonia to begin with and when she saw how bad it was, she had already got a transfer ready, as they dont have pulmonary arrest resources there. The transfer was already done and ready, but she wanted to see how bad it was before she put the method of transportation in. Upon seeing how severe it was, she put the airlift transfer in and put it for ASAP. What took the most time was the helicopter showing up. I was only in the ER for 1 hour and 45 minutes tops."

"Small hospital but extremely efficient. Amazing staff who obviously care about every patient. One on one time with me from everyone connected to the reason I was there. You're treated like a person not a piece of meat. Everyone explains their job and what they are going to do in terms you can understand. Highly recommend this hospital over upmc all day long!!"

"My first surgery at this hospital and by far the best surgical experience I've ever had. The time between arriving and being taken into surgery was the shortest I have ever experienced. All the doctors, nurses, and staff were warm, friendly, and professional. I received impeccable treatment. I even got a hand signed Thank You card from same day surgery employees. It was nice a nice touch. The entire surgical procedure and after care was by far better than I ever received at WMRMC in Cumberland."
