"My tub refused to drain. I did all the things you are told to do online. Baking soda & vinegar, hot water, the plunger. Nothing worked. Many years ago I called Roto rooter for my disposal & they were efficient & did a great job. So I called them for the tub & should have called sooner. A plumber showed up promptly & took the back plate off my tub. Something I could not do. He then used a machine to thread a wire down though the backplate. In minutes water was draining quickly. Whatever was clogging the drain was evidently pushed into a larger drain as we didn't find anything at the end of the wire. My tub now drains in a few minutes from my shower. I use a chair in the tub & when I stand up I am not standing in water but a bare tub which is less slippery. The price was reasonable for the quality of the work & the expertise. Plumber was courteous, pleasant, friendly, & just super nice. Always call Roto rooter. They show up & you most likely will not have to mortgage your house to pay the bill."
