Reviews of Regional Eye Associates
"Routinely the office staff has been utterly and completely rude and unprofessional. Today my child had an appointment at 1pm. The doctor informed me the prescription would not change and we happily checked out and went on our way. It was not until I arrived at Walmart where my child spent an hour choosing her frames that I realized that I did not receive my printed copy of the eye glass prescription as I routinely have since we began our visits. The Walmart associate graciously offered to call regional eye and have it faxed over. No big deal. WRONG. The office staff informed the Walmart associate that I did not have a valid prescription for my child and that I owed money (55$) to pay for the new prescription (revealing personal information to a Walmart associate that was not necessary). The Walmart associate explained I would need to call Regional Eye, which I did immediately. The time was now 3:30pm, the office does not close until 4pm. A woman answered the phone at the Regional Eye associates office (whoever was answering calls on 07-06-23). I explained to her the situation and how it was upsetting due to the information given to the Walmart associate and that the information given to the Walmart associate was incorrect. My child had just been seen at 1pm and her prescription had stayed the same. I simply needed her current prescription to order new glasses. Therefore I did not owe 55$ because there was no new prescription. The office staff associate who was un-named proceeded to argue with me, refused to answer questions, demanded that I pay 55$ for the prescription or I could receive no assistance. This was incorrect information on Regional Eye’s part. So I again attempted to urge the office staff member to research further and then at exactly 3:40pm she hung up the call purposely. I attempted to call back and was ignored. I am assuming that this particular individual did not feel like she wanted to do her job today. News flash. If you do not want to help people then find a new position somewhere else where you are not a burden to people trying to receive honest and wholesome polite and loving medical care for their children. P.s. Mrs. Un-named office staff employee. I was a customer service manager for many years. This behavior would have been an immediate write up if not a termination under my watch. I will go to every length that is necessary to ensure you are held accountable for your rude and downright disrespectful treatment of patients. Just because medical care monopolizes and we have to go to a designated office; does not give your right to be soulless and spineless and treat people with disregard and inhumanity. One more thing Mrs. Office staff: you should be utterly ashamed of yourself. I would say have a nice day to you, in true customer service fashion however I hope you receive the same courtesy you extended me, everyday, for the rest of your miserable career."
"Not many people care about service anymore. There is a great group of people that work in this office. You have an excellent experience every time you come for an appointment."
"The office is run so efficient and everyone is very nice. I am new to the area and am happy to have found Dr. Lemley. He was very thorough and addressed all my concerns. Thank you for being a part of the community!"
"I was very nervous to have cataract surgery. However, Dr. Powell was wonderful. Surgery was not bad at all. The next day I was ready to have surgery on the other eye because I could not believe how clear I could see out of the first eye he did. Dr. Powell and his entire staff are the best."
"Very Friendly and takes the time with you! Staff is Great…Dr. Lemley was very caring. Even calls you to check on you after your eye surgery. What Doctor does that any more? Appreciated that…Amy is wonderful explains everything to you and answers all your questions. Highly recommend Regional Eye Associates!"
