Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

"I walked into the store carrying a gallon of Sherwin Williams paint. I asked for the same paint, same color, in semi-gloss. After paying, I was handed a different paint, different color blend - and was told that I couldn't get the original paint because I'm not a contractor. So, I am the very unhappy owner of a gallon of paint that I cannot use."

However, on my third call, I was fortunate to connect with an individual named "E" who not only understood the problem immediately but also assured me that they could get it right. And guess what? "Recently, I went to Home Depot and left frustrated at the paint department. It felt as if everything I asked was impossible to accomplish. I decided to cross the street and go to Sherwin-Williams in Ellicott city to see if they would be able to help me with my situation. I met a young lady I think her name is Yazy (I’m not sure if I spelled it right). She was very helpful, funny and she had a great attitude. On top of it all, she gave me the answers I needed to get my project done. I feel confident with the information she provided and knowledge she displayed. I’m looking forward to coming back for my next projects. She was able to assist me with thinking of things that would never have crossed my mind to think through and consider. After helping minside the store she also helped me with carrying three different buckets to my truck. While this doesn’t seem like much to some, it meant the world to me, especially after leaving frustrated and discouraged from the previous hardware/paint store. I can’t wait to see these new amazing colors being painted in my house. Thank you"

"I have bought hundreds of dollars worth of paint over several years here and they’ve always been wonderful to work with. Two weeks ago I bought approx $300 in paint. Today while painting I realized mid-way through that they did not add the off white tint to the semi gloss paint I was using to paint over bright green trim. They refused to not charge me for their mistake because I hadn’t realized it until now! I immediately went across the street to Home Depot and a lovely man helped me get the correct paint in the exact color I needed in under 10 minutes with a smile on his face the entire time.
