We offer a range of services including professional grooming, drop-off professional bathing, and a self-service dog wash. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, and inviting environment for you and your pup to enjoy bath time.
Our self-service stalls are eco-friendly and equipped with everything you need to wash your dog, including shampoo, towels, brushes, and blow dryers. We also offer drop-off services with professional bathing and grooming by our pet CPR and First Aid certified staff. All services include nail cutting and ear cleaning to keep your pup healthy and happy.
Conveniently located near the Delaware River, we invite you to bring your pup for a swim or walk on the tow path before stopping by for a walk-in self-service bath. If you prefer not to bathe your pup yourself, we offer appointments for professional baths and grooming services.
Our grooming services include a bath, blowout, brushing, hair cut, nail clipping, ear cleaning, mouth wash, and a bandana or bow tie for a stylish finish. We prioritize your pup's comfort and avoid using cages, so they will be waiting for you in their own stall after their grooming session.
For self-service bathing, each stall is equipped with a professional bathing tub, eco-friendly bathing system, and grooming tools. We provide premium gentle pet shampoo suitable for puppies and dogs with sensitive skin. Please note that de-shedding, whitening, flea and tick, and de-skunking shampoos are not available for self-service and will incur an additional charge.
Walk-in nail clipping and self-service bathing are available, with the last walk-in service one hour before closing. Drop-off services are by appointment only, so please call or request an appointment online. Our closing time is subject to change, so for late walk-in appointments, please call ahead to secure your spot.

"Meg and Bryn are not only the best groomers in the history of the universe, but also two of the best people I know. They are extremely knowledgeable of all dog breeds, behaviors, and coat types. Both of them are oh-so patient, and just plain sweet to the dogs. They talk to and comfort the dogs throughout the whole process, it is so apparent that they truly love what they do. If you want your fur babies to be in the best hands, this is the place for you. There is no one else I trust more with my dogs than Meg and Bryn ! :)"

"I am so grateful to Bryn at Frenchtown Dog Wash! She is an excellent groomer, but she is so much more than that. Bryn is an incredibly caring and compassionate person. She has groomed my 15 year old Bichon on a regular basis for several years now. Bryn is highly knowledgeable about dogs; she knows how to best handle their needs. This is especially valuable when you have an older dog. She is always flexible and accommodating. She came in at 7:00 AM to groom my dog on a Saturday morning. Since he is experiencing some health problems, I stayed in the waiting area for the appointment. Bryn talked to my dog to calm him the entire time. I couldn't have asked for more. How wonderful to have someone like Bryn and Frenchtown Dog Wash to take care of my precious pet!"
