"I had barber Cody. Very poor service because the fade & side burns were uneven (I had to line it up at home), took to much off (when I specifically specified to hold off on that in the beginning), took a total of 40 minutes, and expected me to tip him on top of all that (barbers get tipped for quality not for effort). I get that you want to socialize with a customer but have the skill to back it up. The barber shop is fine but they hired an inexperienced man for the job."

"Our stylish, Landan , was a Jr stylist - he gets a 10 out of 10. He took his time, listened to what we wanted, and did an excellent job. He was very polite, and sweet and attentive. We will absolutely be returning and using him. The only reason I am not giving the salon a perfect 5 star rating is bc, although the main stylist , when we walked in, did greet us and offered us a seat on the couch while we waited for our stylist we had the appt with (Landon) ....we were a half hour early...he was just not warm. He wasn't UNFRIENDLY, which is why I still am giving them 4 stars out of 5...he just wasn't exactly warm and welcoming. Didn't say much after offering the couch. I think his personality was just a little more reserved maybe. Walking into a new place for the first time, particularly a salon or barber shop, can be a little intimidating. But a very warm and welcoming greeting can ease that anxiety significantly. A more reserved greeting though will not be as effective."

"We moved to the area last summer and it took plenty of trial and error with shops to find a good barber for my 9 year old until we found Cody at Modern Male. Cody is awesome, so nice, and my son finally looks forward to getting his hair cut. Highly recommend!"
