"A+ hockey store. Maybe NEPA's real life version of "Han's Hockey Shop" in the Mighty Ducks. I truly had a big smile and laughs upon walking in, because it's such a cool shop. Maybe something I'd expect to find in Minnesota or Canada. Sporting goods stores like this are few and far between any more...same ownership for 20 years and people that seem to work there more for their love of hockey. If you are in the market for skates or equipment and like to "shop local" I can't think of a better hockey store I have been to anywhere. From a long time hockey guy it was immediately apparent at the service counter that they are experts with skates (fittings, sharpening, profiles, adjustments etc) equipment, and good humor! This place also has so many hockey accessories in stock that other stores do not. I came for some skate assistance, and was able to pick up an accessory I was surprised they had. Honestly even if you don't intend to buy anything, it's worth a visit to just check out their shop, it's a total hockey vibe."

"Figure skaters be aware! Do NOT buy high end equipment from this shop. They do not know how to set blades. Recently I bought a pair of boots, and blades, which were set so improperly that the $400 boots are now irreparably destroyed as confirmed by an experienced technician out of town. The only way to fix the issue is to get new boots!"

"Some confusion on hours posted online and actually hours.(hence 4 stars) Thursday was 4pm instead of 2:30. it turned out not to be a big deal for us but we did drive 55mins and had to kill time. The service was great and friendly and this is the first time I ever had skates sharpened so i have no reference to the quality of work but seems good (and thorough) based on my general knowledge of sharpening blades and axes. I would use their services again but call first to ensure hours."
