"I love everything about this school...People talking about the school make the kids wear RENTAL shirts because they didn't or don't have on there shirt....The school let you know what an how much they shirts cost,so if you as a parent don't have the money to buy they shirts put them in another school. Crazy stuff..I LOVE THIS SCHOOL"
"Teacher give out detention for the smallest reason, teachers are disrespectful towards students while parents arent around but when parents are around they want to be sweet to us but tell parent that their child is rude in class and talk so much its affecting their grades. Ms.Bello is teacher who tells a parent anything to gain their teirs, you should never trust her. Also your child will come home with a load of homework to do, your child will be tierd all the time from being forced to work from 8:00am till 4:00pm sometimes longer,tou bettee find something for your child to do now because their get shorter every year."
"The teachers are not good at communicating issues they are having with students, they want to give detention to students without contacting parents about the issue. AIM academy is not great for my child at all. Teachers are displaying rude behavior to parents and Principals don't respond back to you when you call. This school can do much better. I would not recommend this school to anyone. I have to find another school for my child."
"This is my kids first year at KIPP Heights and KIPP AIM and we all love it! The teachers are very good and involved. I love the constant updates on my children academically and behavioral wise."
"In December my 12 year old son, and 9 year old daughter was robbed and assaulted one block form the school as they walked home. There was no safe passage in line to prevent these issues. Weeks before my children was assaulted, there was several robbery that had occurred at the metro. The never sent home any type of concern warning for our children. A week later after I withdrawal my children, there was a shooting out from of the school. The has Luke warm enthusiasm approach when it comes to our children environment and safety."
