"I would put zero star if i could. Granted my 3 yo COVID baby was out of our home for the first time in months and i let them know. I had a call within the next couple of hours DAY 1 to discuss his behavior... I thought and told them he probably needed time to adjust, but let"s talk etc ..Day 4 one of the teachers in the blue room tells me my 3 YEARS OLD BABY had touched "her privates" YEP I also had to pinch myself, the same lady I saw yelling at a screaming kid that morning (the little angel with cornrows and mom in the medical field - navy scrubs on the healthy side and who wears her hair natural...) I knew then it would not last... Dat 7 at 11 am I get a call : Mrs Diane the director is reaching out to share my kid had somehow managed to get to the parking lot where he was found ... that facility is on MITCHELLVILLE RD..high traffic. I got at least 2 versions between the call and when i rushed to pick him up (don t ask me how i drove there...). My " strong" 3 YO baby has apparently broken down a bar or two of their fence ( I took pictures, no such thing)... It s either that or he managed to go through 3 other classes and the Director s office / hall then pushed the main door. Still praying on that one. Brought a witness and we have it all on record ..But if you r out there looking for a place that garantees your baby s safety..."
"The staffs are kind and professional. The children always look and seems very happy going to and from school. Safe neighborhood and the atmosphere is conducive for learning"
"THEY ONLY WANT PERFECT KIDS!!!! I will be fair on the rating, one the directors Joan is pretty good, and they have some young staff who actually care about the kids. If your kids aren’t perfect don’t send them to THE Children’s Centre, if your child has any learning disabilities they will fake like they wanna help them but really they don’t want them there at all. If your child is special needs do not send them there!!! The older staff is lazy and do not watch the younger kids. So I’m a nut shell they will smile in ur face saying they for the kids to help them and support them, and realistically they lying trying kick them out. Not transparent people or do good business i do not recommend and will not do Buisness with them ever again"
"My child is enrolled at The Children's Centre and has been attending for eights months now. My husband and I absolutely LOVE this daycare. We enrolled my son as soon as he turned two which is currently the starting age for children at this daycare. The teachers here are amazing! They really care about my son as if he is their own. My son was born premature so I was apprehensive about enrolling him at ANY daycare, but The Children's Centre has exceeded every expectation. Furthermore, as a working parent, it is important to choose a daycare that not only has your child's best interest at heart, but the parents too. They only call/email you if your child is running a fever, or vomiting excessively...the normal reasons why you would need to leave work and pick up your child. They don't call or email you every time they sneeze like some daycare's. All in all, my family loves The Children's Centre and my son loves going to "school" everyday. He loves his teachers and his friends. If you want more detail about The Children's Centre from a parents perspective, feel free to message me."
"We are more than happy with The Children's Centre. The staff is fantastic, which is the key. They REALLY care. They are always welcoming and positive. Every single teacher I see looks friendly and is smiling which makes me feel good that they hire positive people. Our child is in a class with several other children and this is such an asset we didn't get from an in home daycare where there was maybe 1 or 2 other kids his age. He gets more than enough personal attention from teachers, but more so, its great that he can socialize with friends on a regular basis. He is just over 2 and he has his friends that he loves talking about when he gets home."
