Capitol Building Supply

"I was told by the salesperson a Thursday delivery would work. I schedule drywallers for the following day, Friday. Get a call Thursday that the supplies aren’t coming now till Friday. I call them and tell them I need them early as drywallers are coming. Guy on the phone says they should be there at lunch time between 11-1. Drywallers show up at 11 then stand around for a couple hours and finally have to leave at 1:10. Supplies finally show up at 1:45. I had to pay the drywallers more for their time as materials showed up a day and a half late, an. project was then delayed a couple weeks with the reschedule of the workers. - I’ve only been asking for the extra $$ it cost me to pay the workers for their time from the delivery mess, but no one will call me back. Tyler, the manager, first said he would call me back a few days later. Nothing. I’ve called several times and the guys on the phone keep promising Tyler will call but I have not received anything. This all took place on June23. Today is July15 and yesterday Robbie promised me (again) I’d get a call back from Tyler that same day. Nothing again. I’m really not asking for a lot and I’ve been extremely patient. Now I’m just frustrated, feel lied to, and not gonna let it go until resolved. Update: still no calls back for resolution from Winchester location. July21 now. The salesperson I purchased from is working on it as well with no update or progress. Update: the financial resolution was finally reached so in the end I give two stars. However, no relational resolution. Meaning, no calls back or even brief conversation after weeks of chasing. For a company who says "Delivering excellent customer service will always be our #1 priority" at the top of their website, this was a frustrating experience for me. - I do feel the financial resolution was fair. In the end, however, I would not recommend using them if you're a DIYer or doing non-commercial/contract projects. I definitely felt like I was too small to be a "priority.""

Talking with Tyler to resolve an easy issue turned into me realizing management at this facility is arrogant and childish. I highly recommend using other building supply companies. Tyler acted as if doing business with him was supposed to be some sort of favor. Highly unprofessional, I won’t be going here again."
