"I highly recommend Great Beginnings if you live in the Alexandria area. The staff is very friendly and communicative. Our daughter has been in the infant classroom since she was 10 weeks old. They have shown her nothing but love and attention. This was something that was super important to us with us both working full time. They offer a flexible 3,4, or 5 day schedule which was great for us! We are very thankful for Ms.Nancy in particular because she always informs us of how are daughter is doing and is always so happy to see her at drop off. We have no doubt that our daughter is in great hands. We absolutely love this center and wish we were staying in the area!!"

"There is nothing great about this center. I have a son who has autism and the director treated us so cold, its very disrespectful to tell someone who has an autistic child to control him. Not only that when we walked in for the first day she looked at me like i was wrong for showing up she said I was sent an email for what to bring and that never happened she couldn't even provide proof. Then i was told they couldn't start though they were eager to. Such a shame to live in such a time where children can have disabilities or be kids without being turned away from childcare. In response to you saying they didn't have proper paperwork as a means to deflect the issue at hand they did. I gave it to you. I also uploaded it to bright wheel two weeks ago. To everyone who is thinking about letting their children attend make sure you tour and meet in person don't let them rush the process and skip over that. Also i have no need to reach out to you, do better and be a better human being."

"We absolutely loved our experience at Great Beginnings! Our son attended since he was 6 months old. Each day he came home with new learnings and was excited to go every morning. Ms Cortinzia is wonderful and even checked up on us after we were no longer students. Unfortunately we moved out of state. We miss Great Beginnings dearly."

"Our son Jack went to GBELC from 4 months through 11.5 months and we were so happy here!! Unfortunately, we’re leaving the area, but we have absolutely loved our experience here and would have kept him here through preschool. Ms. Cortinzia, the center’s director, is super responsive, flexible, and understanding. The teachers are all so loving and our son jumps into their arms when we drop him off! I also love how accommodating the center is with our current home schedule and practices - they allow us to use his sleep sacks, sound machines, and home schedule which gave me so much peace of mind. Communication is great - we use the Tadpoles app and teachers are also super open to questions and feedback if we have concerns. We are extremely sad to leave GBELC and I would recommend to anyone who wants a flexible, compassionate, caring, and collaborative center for your child!"
