"My son is 20 months old. He started back in september, any who knows me know im very picky when it comes to my kids and with my son being my youngest and the only one who had to attend child care outside of the family it bothered me. Doing my research I wasn’t to sure about this center due to the reviews, however I decided to visit and see myself. When i arrived I was with my mom we were greeted by Ms Carla. We were late, however Ms Carla still saw us she was happy we made it. she informed me that she had been waiting. She knew Who I was, she had all my information there, and she gave us a tour of the center. me and my mom were impressed. They have a open center where everyone can see what everyone is doing, something I liked. The center was clean and the staff were friendly everyone was welcoming. upon leaving my mom was excited. She was very happy, so was I, however, it was a big change to what I was used to. I did decide to let my son start the following week and it has been the best experience ever. I highly recommend the center I see already an improvement in his learning and coping skills best center ever. Ms. Carla a special thanks to you for making my experience a great one."
"Great experience and environment for your kids. They treat you well and are very flexible with day to day operation. My daughter she's has been at Apple since a toddler she's now 10 years old. My twins been there since 3 years old and there transition was never better to kindergarten. There 5 years old now. They make accommodations when needed. They take your kids of trips that you normally couldn't do during they day. You kids learn here as well. I feel safe when they're at day care/after care. There are some down to earth workers here that can relate to life situation but, professional. People are going to complain no matter in comments but, what this is a great institute and innovative place for your kids to grow. Mr. Mark. Ms. Karla, and Newly Ms. Karen handle daily operations to the best of there ability. No one's perfect but, they take care of the job..."
"My children attended Apple Early Learning for three years and since than, old employees left and new employees came in. Also, their fees fluctuate without notice. Their level of childcare is comparative to a babysitter because the teachers in the infant and toddler classroom have a tendency to lose or misplace the children's backup supplies/belongings in their cubbies. There have been several instances where my youngest child had been sent home with another child's items in her diaper bag or another child's diaper bag was given to me at pick-up, staff lost 2 of my daughter's blankets used for nap time, misplaced my daughter's spare change of clothes, and even forgetting to return all of belongings such as her sippy cup and travel bowls that I've stored her meals in for daycare back into her diaper bag. When my childcare vouchers expired they happily accommodated me by deferring my account for 1 month to allow me time to obtain my new vouchers. After 1 of waiting for my new vouchers to generate through the office of childcare, my account became delinquent. Thereafter, I was forced to pay for childcare out of pocket until I received my new vouchers. During that time I asked the director if I could be refunded my out of pocket expenses paid once I received my new vouchers and he agreed to repay me providing that my vouchers were backdated, which they were. The director failed to hold his end of the agreement to repay me any childcare fees that I paid while my vouchers were lapsed. The center ended up being paid double the original amount of my childcare tuition because they failed to repay me once they received my new vouchers. They are very dishonest and for that along with the negligence of staff not properly caring for my daughter's belongings I would not recommend this center to anyone. To the parents who have childcare vouchers, I advise you to proactively complete and submit your childcare voucher recertification at least 2 months prior to expiration to prevent your vouchers from expiring and having to experiment the payment issues that I encountered 2x. I recently withdrew my children from Apple Early Learning at the end of 2021/2022 school year because I relocated, but if I were ever to return to the P.G. County area I would not do business with this center in the future."
"If I could leave 0 stars I certainly would but the 1 star is for the only 2 teachers that care for the safety and development of the children there and that's Ms Carla and Ms Tiya. Based on my experience of just 3 months (2014) I would not recommend this center to anyone at all. I witnessed a lot of things that should not under any circumstances be allowed to happen in a child care center. If you want to really see what the day to day consists of, arrive at 730am and spend a day observing. You'll never return again."
"Both of my children attended AELC between 2007-2011. The staff members were always kind and courteous. I felt the genuine love and concern they had for the children. The building is a good size and clean - it also requires a pin code for access, which I appreciated. They have a great summer program which includes several outdoor activities and trips. The cost was surprisingly inexpensive (compared to other day cares in the area.) The ONLY reason I withdrew my kids is because we moved. I recommend them to all local parents. The only change I would like to see is them accepting babies from 6 weeks (right now, they start at age 2.)"
