"I love this place I used to go to this school but I had to move and i missed my friends so much like Maria she was my best friend forever in 3rd grade in ms.brice class my name is Angela"
"This school lacks so much for the children, its truly sad. There are a lot of Mexican teachers. For the most part they are "ok" teachers with semi "ok" curriculums, but that barely TEACH. The problem is, for some American students, it is difficult to understand what they're trying to teach because of their thick Spanish accents. To me I don't care how nice of a teacher you are, if my child can't understand what is being said and taught half the time, how is he/she to learn? My child has had a Mexican teacher every year since starting this school. I find myself having to teach him beyond the homework that is sent home. I'm fine with that, as this is a major part of parenting, but it's come to the point where I feel like I might as well homeschool him. The office staff are not so bad, EXCEPT for Ms. Henry!!! She has to be one of the worse administrators I've ever come across in my 29 years of parenting 6 children!! I try and avoid her at all cost because she's downright nasty, negative & extremely unprofessional. As one of the first persons you come across in the front office, she sets the tone. I knew after my first encounter with her, that this school would not be a good fit for my child. I was right. William Paca doesn't host many plays, musicals or assemblies, for my child's age group anyway. They did have an assembly to honor all Honor Roll students, I was impressed by this, until we got there and had to listen to songs about "Pinatas." Mexico was the only Country that was signaled out during this thankfully short-lived event. This was great for the Spanish children who did well, but how about the other cultures, like maybe, African-Americans??? This is also a predominately African-American district as well, but at this school, you wouldn't know it. Base bottom line, I can't wait until the time comes when I can transfer my child out. More is expected & better is deserved. If you care about your child's overall education, the cultures that are instilled in him/her and extracurricular activities and you can avoid it, don't send your child to this awful school."
"I am so happy I had gotten my son transferred out of this school the school was unprofessional they switched my son classes and didn't even tell me I went to back to school night and had to find my son was placed in another classroom with another teacher they lied about him having speech Services when the speech teacher indeed had quiet . This was the worst 3 months of my son's life he hated going to school was painful to send my son to school and I am so happy that we had moved. The principal was so unprofessional the teachers was overworked and unappreciative in the administration officer didn't even know what they was doing. Parents run do not send your kids to the school by any chance necessary"
"My experience with the school administrative staff and the school's nurse was awesome, they are lovely and ready to listen and response to parents positively. I am glad my children were pupil of this great school with kind hearted staff. Kudos to you all."
"My kids go here now looking to get them transfered.when u go in the office this big light skin lady very nasty she's never friendly she has a bad attitude with the kids and the parents she doesn't welcome you in anyway to feel comfortable you wonder why they have her in the office. I have had parents that have there kids transfered they have nothing good to say bout her in the office she act like she don't wanna do nothing or move out her chair.somebody need to make her retire I wouldn't have an unprofessional person represent my school or any work place the way she do William Paca that's not a good look for your school"
