"Good place but interestingly the name could be a day care or a weapons shop. Bring the wrong thing to either type of establishment and you'll have a bad day. To be clear, this is the kids' type of place."
"Leesburg Open Arms is amazing! When we got close to our first baby’s due date, we started searching for where we would take him for childcare since both parents work full time. I was super nervous about this because let’s be honest, we really don’t KNOW a certain place will be great until you’re already there and have some time to really see. LOA was recommended through word of mouth and when we visited it was evident that it was clean, organized, safe, and joyful. The teachers and children all seemed happy. We got the “warm and fuzzies” so decided to enroll our baby in their care. Of course the first day was hard, but I felt peace in the midst of the tears because the caregivers were very reassuring and they encouraged me to check in on him. It’s now been several months and I can wholeheartedly recommend LOA! The entire staff is friendly, professional, and great at what they do. My baby is happy to be there which of course makes me happy! Thank you LOA, for putting this new mom’s heart at ease and for taking such great care of my baby!"
"Our son has attended Leesburg Open Arms for more than three years. He absolutely loves it there, and thinks of his teachers and friends as his second family. The teachers are top notch, and the director, Ms. Ellen, is a very present, very caring leader. We are especially excited about the addition of their science lab this year. LOA is a wonderful, warm place where your child will thrive."
"My children's home away from home. My two children joined Open Arms in 2014 after being at an in-home daycare settings that unfortunately closed. We have had nothing but a wonderful experience each day since. Everyone on sight knows our children's name and my daughter can't leave the building until she has hugged her favorite teachers goodbye. My son started in the infants room and we had a wonderful experience with the group of caregivers who loved him as their own. He still gets so happy to see them each morning. The addition of religion in their every day leanings has been such a sweet experience. I am happy that they are both building this foundation so young. Ms. Ellen is very hands on and has only the parents & children's best interest in mind. LOA also does a great job providing the option of additional activities outside of the daily routine. I certainly recommend LOA as an option for your family."
"My daughter began attending Leesburg Open Arms at 6 months old back in November of 2009, and my son began at 4 months in April 2012. We could not be happier with the level of care that they receive on a daily basis. At this point, we have experienced almost every classroom and have left our children in the care of many different staff members, and we continue to be impressed. My children love to go to "school" and I am amazed every day at the things they are learning. As any working parent knows, daycare is a very difficult decision...it's so important to feel comfortable with the provider you choose and to know your children are being cared for in the best possible way while you are not able to do it. We feel blessed that our children are cared for and loved throughout the day and that we don't have to worry about them while we are away."
