"Very sophisticated food, elegant presentation and excellent wine pairings. But for an event for 50-60 on a weeknight, we were seated in a bland and crowded space behind the dining room, with chairs and tables so close together that diners couldn’t get out to use the restroom and servers could hardly move among the tables to serve the guests. No atmosphere or ambiance, no music or art on the walls. It felt like eating good French food in very small portions in a nameless hotel somewhere. And all this occurred on a midweek evening when the main dining room was 90% empty. I don’t get it."

"Went to Marcel's on 1/30/2024 for a group dinner, four-course prefix menu $120/person. The food was very mediocre, far from so called fine dining experience. first course arugula salad nothing special, second course two mushroom ravioli which was very chewy, third course red snapper size of a finger, I took two bites, and I was done eating my main course. We all filled up on bread which was so hard to come by! Finally, the dessert chocolate mousse nothing special. The wait staff are very robotic. It was very hard to get the wait staff attention. Don't waste your time and money. I feel cheated!"

"If you are aching to travel back in time to 1992 this is the place for you. Old school fine dining at it's best. From the ultra dim lighting to the old carpets to the dated motel style curtains and soft elevator music, you will have the ultimate 90's meal experience. That being said, almost every course was delicious. At Marcel's, you will find a collection of semi refined comfort foods that are masterfully prepared. The flavors were bold and every dish was a delight. The evening was made particularly charming by our delightful server who kept us laughing from start to finish. The only bad dish was the Wagyu beef which was tough and tasted mainly of salt and extra salt. The house made bread, however was some of the best i have tasted in my life! If you are looking for something different for your next outing, you won't be disappointed by the bold, if not familiar flavors and the absolutely silly atmosphere."
