"By far one of the best authentic Italian restaurants i've ever visited. From the recommended wine, the bountiful appetizers, to the amazing entree, I was not disappointed. "I REALLY really didn’t want to believe the most recent reviews. But they are all spot on. The food was not good. No taste, no flavor. Their idea of fine dining is how little food they can put on your plate and how much they can charge you. The service was absolutely horrible as well. But don’t worry they will automatically tack on the 20% to your bill just in case you thought otherwise. But maybe the cocktails would make up for it? Nope- horrendous. The whole experience honestly felt like a scam. Will not go back till drastic changes are made."

"Truly a hidden gem in the small town of the Plains! We came here for my husband's 42nd birthday. The menu items had many selections including a few specials and the food was perfect fist sized portions. The pasta is all made in house which is rare indeed. My kids loved the calamari app! I ordered the the Beef Tartare for appetizer which was good but need a sprinkle of salt to bring out the truffle better. I also ordered the goose ragu which was served in a mint farfelle which was visually very pretty and was well seasoned and had so much flavor! One of my 8 yo son enjoyed the ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly and my other 6yo son enjoyed the lasagna bolagnese and he gulped that up so quickly. My husband loved his Skate fish dish ( it was perfectly crispy on the edges and flaky tender inside). My dessert was the lemon tart and presentation and flaky and sweetness of the tart were perfect and delicious! My kids ordered the gelato but it melted too fast on the plate it should have been served in a bowl so they could drink the meltings..haha Overall a wonderful dining experience and good customer service and we will be back very soon! "Such a cozy Italian restaurant tucked in the beautiful countryside of Virginia. Really friendly staff and the food is very good. The fresh baked bread is a must and worth the calories lol. The pear and Walnut salad is a huge recommend!"
