"Do not recommend. My granddaughter was there 3 days for half day. Her diaper was full of urine. She hadn't been changed. The employees scream and yell at the children all day. Just walk by, if the children are outside, you will hear the workers screeching at them."

"We joined Our Expanding World in June. I had found out online there had been a change of administration. I went there and my 2 kids started going, my almost 2 years old and my 5 years old participated in Summer Camp before starting Takoma Park Elementary School. The staff are really nice and supportive. My 2 kids are going there very happy, they have several activities for each age and the most important thing is they are very nice and caring with children. Prices are affordable and we are very happy with the community of staff and parents there."

"OEW was a unique option for daycare and aftercare with a nice community of teachers and parents. However it has changed management and almost all staff in the last year. I would not send my daughter here or recommend it to my friends. Do your due diligence before doing business with this owner."

"Both of my children attended OEW and have exceptionally fond memories of the director, the teachers, the play, and the friends they made while there. I found it to be a kind, thoughtful, and nurturing place for children. It may not look super fancy but that's not what the kids remember. They remember laughter, learning, really good times, and a sense of safety and joy. As a working mom, nothing could have brought ME greater joy than to have found this wonderful school for them. It's not a fancy or a modern facility, but it's a GREAT learning environment and it's affordable. We have nothing but praise for the director, the teachers and the aides.
