Childtime of Silver Spring

"Love the twos teachers!!!!! my son started at 18mo there. Love the cameras which I watch often..but now that I have such gr8 teachers I find I don't want too watch as much ....love front desk director she greets me all the time by name....facilities are clean and spacious ....I don't worry about my child. He gets hugs every day upon arrival. And the teachers pay attention to him...Don't get some of the reviews especially by the person with no personal experience at this center so I figured I'd leave an honest one .for ppl considering."

"I've had a great experience with this center. I would encourage folks who see teachers during play time on phones to remember that this center has an app that they use to communicate with parents and IT'S WONDERFUL. They weren't necessarily playing games on their phone. The teachers here really love my daughter like she was there's and get just as excited as I do when she hits milestones"

"I believe some of the parents have had great experiences with them. I went for a tour and didn’t choose them for the following reasons: 1. I have been on several tours. This is one of the places that doesn’t require you to take off your shoes before going into the infant room. Or at least I wasn’t asked to take off my shoes during the tour. 2. Still related to the cleanliness. It was lunch time during the tour, I saw a teacher detangling her hair with fingers while seating right next to the kids who are ready to eat their lunch. I’m assuming either there is going to be a lot of hair on the floor, or she probably won’t wash her hands before dealing with the kids’ lunch. 3. Get a response from them after the tour was impossible. I guess if they don’t really have a spot open, they are not in the urgency to contact you. I did email and call them to ask for the availability but they promised to call me back after checking the schedule and never get back to me. The pros are, it provides live camera that parents have access. The tuition was not expensive comparing with other Childtime. And the rooms are big. Personally, this is not the right place for us."

"This is by far one of the best daycares in the area. Our daughter went to Childtime from the early days of the Covid pandemic and we felt safe knowing she was in caring hands. The teachers were kind and provided lots of engaging activities to the students. My daughter learned a lot and loved her time at Childtime and still keeps in touch with many friends she made there! This daycare will seem a bit pricey compared to others but it is worth every penny. This is a great place overall. Take a tour and see for yourself!"

"Just for clarification - I’ve never had a child go here or been a client of the daycare. My doctors office is across from the children’s playground and every time I go to the office there are small children (probably two or three years old) bawling while the daycare personnel sit on their phones ignoring them. Based on that alone, I’m not sure about the level of care of the daycare, however, I thought it would be worth sharing as I personally wouldn’t want my child to experience that."
