"I have a unique perspective: I was a student at this school 40 years ago and now my son has completed his first year! It truly is a gem of a school. I still have wonderful memories from my own time at Casa de Montessori. Love everyone and everything here!"
"I love the classroom- warm, bright, with big windows and lots of color- a very happy place ! Mrs. Burkhardt is a a wonderful teacher- kind and patient. The staff are very friendly and take good care of the kids. We are keeping our son here through Kindergarten-although public school is an option."
"Our daughter has been at Casa for two years and she loves it - and so do we. Ms. Burkhardt is a wonderful teacher, and all of the staff are excellent. I am often surprised when I go to show my daughter how to do something and she already knows how to do it. Looking forward to when our next child is old enough to attend."
"We've been part of the Casa family for five years -- my oldest attended and graduated from K there and my youngest is in his second year there now. This is truly a unique place -- it's a small, family-run establishment that has been there since 1969. It truly feels like childhood in that caring, old-fashioned way. The kids have freedom to explore at their own pace, but they are still developing and being challenged to grow. Both my sons have really blossomed there and we've been extremely happy with our choice. Furthermore, it's a great value compared to many other schools in the area!"
"Casa de Montessori is wonderful! Two of our 3 children graduated/still attend the school. We have been a part of the community for the last 7 years. We have had the good fortune to be in Mrs. Jones's class. She has been and continues to be a gift to our family. The care and quality of instruction our children have received is exceptional. After his graduation from Casa, our son moved to a private school for first grade and was (and continues to be) performing above grade level in reading and math. Not only do we credit his time at Casa for equipping him with the academic skills to succeed, but we attribute his love of learning to Casa. We think it is telling that 4 years after graduation he still likes to go back to be a teacher's helper on his days off from school. At Casa our children were/are safe, valued, challenged, respected and, most importantly to us, loved. The entire staff/faculty got to know my children as individuals and work with them to instill confidence in their abilities and a passion for school. School is a place my children want to be. We love that Casa's small classes enable the faculty to engage the children wherever they may be on the learning spectrum and position them for success. You can tell from their interactions with the children and parents that the faculty and staff love their jobs. We couldn't ask for more."
