Reviews of Village Green Day School - Great Falls
"My toddler was enrolled here for over a year starting at 12 months and initially was happy with the preschool, however, the last 4-5 months was beyond unsatisfactory. Local administration changed during that time and it felt like it became a game of shuffling staff and children around instead of a fun learning environment. My child consistently came home with mucus crusted to his face that only came off after warm baths and on a few occasions with diaper rash. Many of the long time teachers are wonderful, but from my experience the assistants were under qualified and the administrators were more focused on raising tuition on a frequent basis than focusing on childcare. The recent 5 star review by Cady is a conflict of interest as she is an administrator here. Speak with other families that attend VGDS before you enroll your child as there’s been a recent exodus of children at the time of this post. If your child is 4+ this facility will likely suit your needs as they can fend for themselves by that age. The premium tuition of this facility is warranted only by its location. The building is older and quirky, to access some classrooms you have to pass through other classrooms or walk outside to access them. The outdoor play space for the youngest children is an asphalt courtyard with mulch, dirt and bushes."
"Lovely teachers and families! Everyone is so nice and they know what they’re doing. I’m happy to have my child here!"
"We loved our time at Village Green! Monessori with Mrs. Karina and Mr. Fischer is magic!"
"When my granddaughter was there, it was not good. The fake English accent teacher had a male assistant restraining a child in his lap at story time. On more than one occasion, I caught her and Tammy Segregating the Brown children. In a myn $+ neighborhood, the food for the children there was not fit for the deer. Found a wet sponge in a plastic container growing fungus that was being used to wipe down the children's desk. They Did not like pop-up visits. Drop off no problem, but surprise visits were met with resistance from Tammy. "Pop up" at your child's daycare or anywhere a precious love one is in attendance and observe. Saw a person in management, standing over a 3+ brown male, reprimanding him. When you see something, say something. A lot of turnover staff. A previous review was posted but was taken down. Realistic True facts..."
"We really appreciate the school, especially the school leaders taking the time to share the details of the new planned curriculum. We also just wanted to spotlight what an impressive job the teachers have been doing keeping the parents informed on ProCare. The constant, thorough updates are tremendously appreciated. We're sent an abundance of great photos and we also get our child’s nap start and end time, bathroom and food updates, and most importantly we know exactly what our child does each and every day which is a great comfort when both parents work and can’t be with our child as much as we’d like. We are very grateful that our son’s teachers are able to keep order in the classroom, keep the kids engaged, AND provide parents with frequent updates. Good job Village Green!"
