"Well I would say it was a good experience but it wasn’t the reason why I never returned is because my accommodations were never met, most of the employees were rude to me and I told my boss about it and thinking he would do something about it but he never did, when my family had Covid I wasn’t accommodated, my one rule was I have a ride to and from work right well if all of them are sick with Covid how am I suppose to get to work, explain that to me, the cash office Jane was really rude to me every time I would ask for a till or even a simple easy override. So that’s why I never returned to giant eagle, I would say it’s the best place to work but it’s something."

"EVERY single item is about a dollar more expensive here than anywhere else. You have to be really bad at math to think you're making that back at the pump. Even when items are on "sale" they're actually just the regular price you'd find somewhere else like Wal-Mart. Do you think your bag of pre-packaged Doritos is more Dorito-y from Giant Eagle? The organic produce is cheaper from Whole Foods, and it's in significantly better shape than the garbage they peddle here. The balls on these people to sell "organic" celery for 5.99! It's 3.29 at Whole Foods."

"Giant Eagle is great for popping in real quick to grab something. Also, strangely, the only grocery store I'm aware of around here that you can buy shallots. 01/20/2024 This is old news, but worth adding if you're like me and prefer to buy things in store as opposed to online: they carry a decent variety of Derma-E skin care products. Including the hard to find: anti-aging scrub!"

"Curbside service has improved greatly. The selections here are WAY better than Walmart. Curbside employees are great. Other employees are just ok. Sushi people are oddly aggressive. Take the hint, if someone doesn't make eye contact, tred carefully. Nice seasonal items too."
