I had gotten skates from my local pro shop and had 2 bad experience , one the boots where a size and a half to big , got new skates and they still caused me so much pain and issues . My coach recommended Rich and I went down and he is AMAZING!! He really tries his hardest to fix issues. He is the only one who truly cares about his skaters . He was able to fix my skates and my coach truly sees a difference. I will only go here now . Please only come here for your skates and accessories. You won’t be disappointed ."

"What Rich has are a very particular set of skills. Skills he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that make him a nightmare for anyone else in the figure skate business. Seriously though, if you have figure skates, you need to get them sharpened here. Don't trust me? Sure, I get that. In that case, try somewhere else and then go to Rich the next time, the difference will be perfectly evident. If you're in the market for figure skates, again, he knows his stuff better than anyone and you will benefit greatly from that experience."

"Rich is extremely knowledgeable about skates (contrary to the review below). I am from the Washington D.C area and there are less than a handful of places that sell quality boots and service. I stumbled across Rich years ago when looking to upgrade my boots when I was still skating freestyle. When I started skating for a collegiate synchronized skating team , he helped me pick the right pair of boots and when I had trouble with the fit he helped with the adjustment/remolding of the boot (which although seemingly arbitrary is difficult and I wouldn't trust the task to just anyone- as things could go very wrong if done incorrectly). Overall, Rich knows what he is doing and is willing to work with his customers to make sure they are satisfied with their skates."
