"My kids have been here for years and love it! It’s easy and convenient."
"As former staff of this establishment, I wouldn’t recommend bringing your child here. That was quite a few years ago, but I reported the director and teachers to CPS and nothing happened. Kids were shoved in closets while screaming, terrified - children were threatened, spanked, and abused here. The staff would get the bigger kids to hurt the smaller kids, and write the bloody face up as an accident. I was eventually fired due to another staffs doing, but I was quitting the following week anyway because I can’t stand seeing kids abused. I was a single mother at the time and had to stay until my job lined up. I still remember those children’s names, and honestly, their cries still haunt me due to PTSD from working here, which is why I’m writing this review so many years later… I’m up thinking about those children crying and screaming in terror. Idk how or why CPS hasn’t shut them down. Things could have very well changed, but if Barb is still the director, and Ms Linda still works here, stay far away. Barb shoved a 3 year old in her office closet because she was “bad” then proceeded to laugh at her screaming in terror, and Linda would threaten to break children’s bones and yell at 3 yo for not knowing their ABCs and how to spell. Not to mention Linda was the one hitting and spanking the children. Hopefully it’s turned around and there are new employees… just vet the place to an extreme and trust your gut"
"My son goes to this daycare and I wish I could take him out . The staff are lazy. Their not very active with the kids . Not really teaching them or providing the kids with learning skills. The staff sits at the desk most of the times I have been there thats all it seems like to me . The bathroom stalls smell bad soon as you walk in. The play ground is very old and it looks dangerous. All the money we all pay they could get a nee playground . I wouldn’t suggest this place. Unfortunately we had to move ."
"My daughter Carli has been going to this outstanding daycare since she was 3 years old, and now Carli is 5 years old and I couldn't ask for a better place! I love how they have classrooms that go by age difference! I also had a very hard time trusting any one with my child from past experiences. CWELC helped me through this fear and for this, I am truly thankful!!! My daughter struggled with speech as she had a speech delay and was also in the midst of being potty trained. When Carli started attending CWELC, she made an incredible outstanding progress on her speech and potty training and now, with the help of CWELC's staff, my daughter was fully potty trained in less than no time and can now carry on a full conversation that can clearly be understood thanks to the help of CWELC's staff and the love and socialization of other students who are all happy to see each other with heartwarming greetings when you step through the door. It's like a happy family that everyone wants/wish for! I am very happy to have ended my search for a happy, secure, trustworthy family oriented environment/daycare for my daughter that I can rest my mind while at work knowing that my Carli is in good care while I'm working!"
"CWELC has been a great center for my daughter. They offer a secure and safe environment for the children. Structured lessons are provided during the school year and summers are filled with fun activities and field trips."
