"We waited for months for an opening with this daycare provider when it was originally an in home daycare. We received a two week notice after less than a year of care that our child’s classroom was closing due to staff shortages. It’s unacceptable to provide that notice on that timeframe though contractually that is all they are required to give you. No advanced warning that maybe we need to look elsewhere (get on a waitlist with another provider), that they are having issues hiring/retaining employees, just a letter handed to us on a Friday when we picked up our child. That might be acceptable to some people that read this who don’t need full time care or have an extensive support network locally, but to us it was disruptive and inconsiderate. In terms of the actual care our child received it was good and all the interactions I had with employees were professional."

"If you're looking for a local education program for your child(ren) do not hesitate to send them here! Isabel and her entire staff are fantastic at focusing on child development, appropriate milestones, outdoor play & learning, all while creating a fun and very caring environment. My son had previously attended another childcare facility, but since being at the Lovettsville School House he has thrived! I drop him off and he walks right into his classroom without even turning to say goodbye. I know he is happy, safe, and loved."
