"I go here and I will say I like it mostly. The only part I do not like is the bullying and some teachers are strict."
"Down home education"
"Excellent amenities and educators. The redesigned Bester Elementary gets High marks from this PTA member. My children have attended Bester and I have found the communication between teacher and parent to be very good, they have a great, brand new facility that falls under the schedule 1 schools so there is no supplies needed by the parents and all students are given free lunch. The faculty is caring and the site is secure and safe for your kids. The limited experience I had with the principal was very positive they seem to have a really good team to help at any level your child is at."
"Because he moved east."
"the building is nice but the staff and most of the teachers are just... terrible! The school is infested with head lice and the savannah is breading grounds for mosquito. We had a very bad experience with this school, so bad that i am homeschooling my daughter. She was not doing well bc she was bored in class. they put her in pre-K at the beginning of the year, at home she has advanced from per-K to First grade work within 6 months. My son who has was there last year in life skills program, that program was so bad that they actually closed it this year. the teachers working with him did not know anything about ASD or how to handle a child with ASD. they called me up to 3 times a week to bring him home bc he was so stressed out there. That year was a fiasco with this school, i spent a lot of time writing letters to the principle and school board to advocate for my own son. This is a school "qualified" to handle children with ASD yet i had to explain even the basic traits of ASD. Many people have told me this is the WORST school in hagerstown."
