"My son and I both went in after the great reviews. We both like and have longer hair. When we explained to Sam that we wanted the exact same style and look as we currently had, but wanted an inch trim, he said okay. After he turned us around to see the finished product, we both had (way too) super short haircuts. The fact that he doesn’t have you face the mirror while he cuts it makes it so you don’t see what is happening. He used electric razor, regular scissors, razor blade and thinning shears (way over thinned so now my hair looks like I’m losing it). Then to top it off, before letting me see the cut, he asked if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed (typically they’ll brush them up and trim what extends over the natural arch)…he SHAVED them to stubble (and added a few bald patches in it to)! So, needless to say, when we turned around to see the job, my son and I were in shock. When I asked him why he took 4 inches off instead of the one, he said, “it looks better this way.” His claim to fame is “7 Minute Sam.” I think he must be good at one particular hair cut that he can do in 7 minutes…and if you want something different…You get HIS 7 minute cut haircut regardless."
