"Great experience overall with my bathroom renovation. Had tried to do it the cheap route dealing directly with contractors who would make big promises, then fail to respond, and eventually ghost me. Holods, and Bill Cuevas, in particular were great to work with, highly responsive, and handled the project management well."
"Great experience, Stacia is very welcoming, friendly, personable, and communicative. She will help you finalize your ideas to make them make the most sense and cost efficient for your home. Her designs are top-notch. Looking forward to working with her again on future projects!"
"We had the luck of having Stacia as our kitchen designer, and have nothing but praise to sing for her design ideas. She came up with ideas that I would've never thought of, which makes the kitchen far more efficient than it already is. She takes into consideration your budget, wants, and needs. Stacia is very creative and not pushy at all."
"We highly recommend Holod’s Kitchen and Bath, in particular Bill Cuevas as designer and project manager. Bill is professional, responsive, and fair. Our redesigned kitchen is functional and beautiful, which makes it a pleasure to cook in every day. My husband and I had our kitchen and a powder room renovated in the summer of 2022. The planning process began in January 2022, when we chose a package that included design, a commitment to purchase cabinetry, flooring, and tile through Holod’s, and contractor services to carry out the project. (Another option is to work with your own contractor, but we didn’t have anyone else in mind.) During the winter months, we had several meetings with Bill who gave us a total of three different layouts, taking our input into account after each one. We were dealing with a small kitchen and adjacent breakfast nook that would be combined into one eat-in kitchen. (I might be the only person in the world who didn’t want an island.) Bill consistently found us mid-priced, quality options like our Yorktowne cabinetry. The most challenging and priciest parts of the renovation included knocking down a semi-structural wall, removing radiators and adding radiant floor heat, and exterior masonry work (shout-out to Dan from Restoration Stoneworks of North Wales!). There are a couple appliance houses and fixture stores that Holod’s allows you to work with. Bill was helpful with narrowing down our design choices. Our contractors then installed all the items. In April we met our assigned contractor, Mike, who is one of the chillest men on Earth, and got our estimate for the work. Over the summer, he efficiently managed the subcontractors, including our day-to-day subcontractor, Freddy and his assistant, Caesar. Both these men were respectful, hardworking, and skilled. I’m very happy with how inevitable “hiccups” were handled. Our quartz stopped production right before installation day and while we were out of the country. The bathroom wallpaper finally was delivered after being on backorder, then immediately recalled due to defective adhesive. I wanted tab pulls as hardware for lower kitchen cabinets and drawers, but couldn’t find ones I loved. In each case, Bill was forthright and helpful. I’m sure there were more hiccups that we never even knew about because he just handled them. Punch List items were all taken care of throughout the fall, slowly but surely. Reasons we love Bill: Besides being communicative and friendly, he has great ideas! He really listens and gives great options based on our feedback. He got behind my quirky ideas, namely a fuchsia vanity and flashy bathroom wallpaper, making my vision even better with his art deco touches. Some of our favorite aspects of the kitchen, such as two-tone upper and lower cabinets, quartz windowsills, and decorative lighting fixtures, happened only because of Bill’s vision. What we’d do differently: Make sure there’s a place to store large appliances. We had to take out a pricey swivel pull-out to accommodate our instant pot and stand mixer. Meet with contractor prior to figure out the set-up of our temporary living space during reno. There’s so much dust. Every last fork and cup should have been in a closed bin, but we didn’t recognize that from the jump. The appliance dealer, Keiffer’s, ended up not placing orders when they said they did, then didn’t fess up. We wish we would have chosen differently. The Wecks Philadelphia, PA"
"My wife and I decided to replace the countertop in our kitchen. We dropped in at Holod's without an appointment and were shown a variety of materials and given a priceidea by Stacia Fischer, the General Manager. We checked other suppliers and found Holod's was the best option for us. Donnie Dalonzo guided us through the process and followed up on every detail. Installation was done yesterday and everything is outstanding. The crew doing the install was professional and left the job site immaculate. Frankly, the entire process exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Stacia and her team."
