Dollar General

"I shop at several different Dollar General stores in the area. And usually more times than not I can always get the items I went there for (except over th past several months) with the COVID 19 pandemic still in full force most of the stores ( And not only Dollar General) I've been very hard pressed to find anything as the shelves seem almost bare. It's not the fault of the merchants or the customer's either, it's only because truck drivers are in high demand with the pandemic and without truck drivers the store's aren't getting their orders delivered on a weekly basis as normal, one store told me the orders are 3 weeks behind! Hopefully the pandemic will end soon and our lives will return to normal."

"Tight parking lot & tightly packed little store with narrow aisles. Your typical Dollar General crammed into half the space. Friendly staff. Great for locals, but its worth heading North to Forest City or South to Carbondale if you're just passing through."

"Completely remodeled not too long ago making the store look more orderly and also added a lot more coolers/freezers for an extended fresh/frozen food section. Generally will have what you are looking for although they did lose some items after they did the remodel."

"I find myself consistently going to a Dollar general. No matter where it is I will find one! They have everything I need at such a reasonable price the majority of the Dollar generals I have been to are very well organized clean in the staff is extremely friendly. Where I live it is the most convenient place to go when you need something like eggs, dairy, bread, butter. I have one within walking distance if there is ever a snowstorm and I am uncomfortable driving."

"The only reason I will give this store two stars is because of the wonderful cashier. Other than her, the store is a complete mess. It is very disorganized, there are numerous items that are not labeled with a price and there are a decent amount of items in the clearance section that are not on clearance."
